I smell pretty, oh so pretty!

Cake Beauty's Velveteen Hand Cream is a little slice of heaven on Earth. Women will appreciate this product the most, but for men who like pretty scented moisturizers, this could be for you too! It is meant to be a hand cream but can also be used on the rest of the body as well, though it may be used up much faster that way!

This cream comes out of the tube thick and white. It is easy to squeeze out, but does not shoot out like some of the thinner lotions might. Once on the skin, it stays in place until rubbed in. It rubs in nice and smooth, not leaving a greasy or heavy feeling on the surface. It is creamy and hydrating, containing vitamins to keep your skin supple and soft. If you need to wash this product off, water and soap will do just fine.

This hand cream comes in 4 great choices for scents. It comes in unscented, It's a Slice, Coconut/Vanilla, and Raspberry Kiss/Vanilla. I chose the Raspberry and Vanilla. This is listed as smelling like raspberry with a hint of vanilla. This is quite true, and I think that it smells like raspberry cheesecake!

The scent is not overpowering, but noticeable. It lasts for a long time on the skin, typically almost a whole work day for me, so roughly 7 to 8 hours. Of course this can come off if you wash your hands during the day, so I try to put some on my neck so that I will smell the delicious raspberry and vanilla all day long!

Though it smells delicious, this hand cream is not flavored and not edible. If ingested, it most likely would not taste good, and I wouldn't recommend risking the stomach ache to investigate.

As a hand cream, this product excels. It hydrates, it leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft, it packs vitamins in to leave the skin feeling supple again - what else could you ask for? As a scented cream, it also excels, as something to make you smell nice! It stays on the skin in both the moisturizing and scent qualities, making this product 5 out of 5 stars in my book!

Before & After:

The velveteen hand cream comes in a squeeze tube with a pop-top lid. It stands on the lid, so the product always drains towards the cap, making it easier to get every last bit out. The primary color of the entire tube and lid are white, with pink and a grey color for the writing.

The tube holds 3.4 fl. oz of cream and stands at about 5.5" tall, which is slightly taller than a soda can. The packaging is very discreet, not listing anything that would lead back to your using a site like Eden, if you don't want people to know about your online (and bedroom)activities.

I am absolutely in love with the milk made line and this hand cream is no exception! I love the way it smells, feels and relaxes me! It has more than just the vitamins in it, it also contains things like marshmallow extract and whole milk to make the skin even more supple! Even though I have to reapply this if I wash my hands, it still hydrates between washes and smells oh-so-good!
