Velveteen hand creme - hand cream discontinued by Cake Beauty - review by mlgrant

I received this hand creme a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it!

I live in Maine, where we have very harsh, cold winters, and my hands get so dry every year, that they even crack and bleed. It's really quite disgusting, and I've never really been able to find a decent hand creme until now! This hand creme has been SO good for my hands. A little bit goes a very long way, and I really love the smell of it! It's very light and sweet smelling, with a hint of milk. It actually reminds me of the smell of a Cabbage Patch or Strawberry Shortcake doll for some reason. It must be that slight hint of Raspberry scent in there. Anyway, I love it! It brings me back to my childhood days!

I always put this on my hands immediately after washing them, as that is when they are the most dry. It softens them right up again!

I also love that this creme absorbs really quickly into the skin. There's nothing I hate more than "lotion hands". You know what I'm talking about... You put lotion on your hands and then you can't turn a door knob, or pick anything up for an hour, because your hands are so darn slippery and greasy! Well, not with this stuff!! Once you put it on, it just makes your hands really soft, not greasy at all!

I have ordered the Holiday handful trio, which contains this lotion, as well as Unsweet: un-coloured and un-scented, and Vanilla snow: sweet vanilla cream. I cannot wait to get these! I will be all stocked up for this winter here in Maine!

This lotion is a little pricey, I suppose, at $17.99 for a 3.4 oz bottle, but I think it's well worth it! This bottle will last quite a while, and it surely beats any of those cheap lotions you find in the local stores!

They've also got a Moisture Milk Body Spray, and a Shower Cream that I'm excited to try out!
