Oh my! My hands and my nose are in heaven!
As a total lotion junkie, and proud owner of over-abused hands, I can honestly say I have never tried a lotion that I like more than this one! It smells amazing, heals your damaged skin, and has zero greasy residue. Do your hands a favor and try some! The price tag is high, but a little goes a long way, making it more affordable than it initially looks.

I will start out by saying that I am a total lotion snob and junkie... I have literally hundreds of kinds and scents of lotions hanging around my house, many abandoned because they just didn't live up to my standards. So, when I say that Cake's Velveteen Hand Cream is amazing, it truly is amazing!
I am not exactly kind to my skin... I tan, I smoke, and I also work in the medical field, so I wash my hands a million times a day. I also have hobbies that are rough on the skin. So, I am always looking for that magic lotion that will counterbalance all of the abuse I do to my skin. Of everything I have ever tried, this lotion now stands far above the rest as the holy grail of hand cream.
It is a medium to medium-thick lotion, not as think as a body butter, but close. A very little bit is all you need, even for the driest of skin. It comes in a small squeeze top tube, and is super easy to dispense without getting too much or making a mess.
Due to the rather hefty price tag on this lotion, I was a bit disappointed when I received the bottle and saw how small it was. It contains 3.4 oz of hand cream, which does not sound like much. But, as soon as I tried it, I realized in this instance size truly does not matter! I tried the coconut scented variety, and as soon as I opened the tube my nose was in heaven. The scent is truly delicious! It smells very natural, and truly edible.
As soon as I applied this lotion for the first time I knew I was in love! It has a wonderful velvety texture, and absorbs into your hands quickly and thoroughly. I hate nothing more than putting on lotion and having my hands so greasy I can't turn a door knob or open a soda bottle. With this lotion, my hands were amazingly soft and supple, and didn't feel greasy at all!

Water/Eau (Aqua), Glycerin, Cetyl alcohol, Glyceryl stearate, Cetearyl alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Dimethicone, Stearic acid, Althaea officinalis (marchmallow) extract, Milk Lipid, Mangifera indica (Mango) seed butter, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl glycol, Sorbic acid, Carbomer, Sodium hydroxide, Tetrasodium EDTA
What I love most about this lotion is that the benefits from it last and last! A single application left my hands soft for half the day. After using it for a few days my hands had truly healed and felt amazing even when I hadn't applied any lotion. I went on vacation for a week and forgot my lotion at home, and even after a week of not using it my hands were still better off than they were before I started using it. If you work in a profession where your hands are abused, I can not recommend this lotion enough!
Even with the price that is higher than your average lotion, I doubt you could be disappointed with this product! It is a "a slice" of heaven in a bottle!

This lotion is still one of my favorites!!! It amazes me just how far this little tiny tube goes. I have used this a lot and am just now starting to run low on it. I will be ordering more. I am just hoping to catch it on sale again!
