It's slick alright!

This lube does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well. It lasts a very long time and doesn't irritate my skin at all. The price might seem a little high but it's not, given the amount I need to get the job done. To sum up, once I got used to applying the correct amount, I was very pleased with this lube and will buy it again if I ever run out!
A little goes a long way, lasts a long time, great for silicone compatible toys, cost effective.
Laborious clean up, transfers to everything you touch, incompatible with silicone based toys.

extremely useful review

Prior to purchasing this lube, I'd never used a silicone lube before and was very interested to try it. I have a glass plug and bought it specifically for this toy. I often use a plug throughout my day and was looking for something that would last a few hours without having to re-apply it like I have to do with water based lube. It indeed does last a long time, like all day long.

Upon reading the ingredients listed on the bottle, I set about to find out exactly what they were. I did a web search on each and have listed below what I found. Despite the wordiness of the ingredients, they are all nothing more than silicone and deemed safe.

Cyclopentasiloxane - A type of silicon commonly used in skin and hair care products. Silicon is a natural chemical. In my websearch, I didn't find anything negative about it.

Cyclotetrasiloxane - an odorless, colorless liquid that can be found in lotions, creams deodorants, which adds a silky powdery feel. It is used pharmaceuticals as well. The Government of Canada has determined that Cyclotetrasiloxane is harmful to the environment, but is not harmful to human health. I didn't delve more into why they think it's damaging to the environment.

Dimethiconol/Dimethicone - are types of silicone that are considered inert and non-toxic. They are used in a variety of products.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lube is definitely silky smooth and does exactly what it claims to do. It's not as thick as I expected but it stayed on both toys that I used with it. The texture of it reminded me of baby oil, which is both good and bad. Good, in that it does feel quite good on the skin, bad in that it's difficult to wash off. It lasts a lot longer than any of the water based lubes I've used and I can't stress enough that a little goes a long way!

    • Smooth
    • Velvety

Taste / Aroma

I detected no taste or scent/smell and yes, I tasted it just for this review. Even if there were a scent or it tasted bad, that wouldn't turn me off from using it because all of my lube based activities are solo.
    • No smell
    • No taste

To sum up the performance in a few words, it's slick as hell and lasts forever. I don't typically use any lube for masturbation but it's certainly more than slippery enough for that. However, the cleanup would take forever.

In addition to the glass plug I have, this lube is compatible with two of my other toys, one of which is made out of rubber and the other PVC, but I haven't tried it with them yet.
    • Long lasting
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water
    • Not compatible with all materials

It comes in a small bottle that one could easily store in their purse or luggage. If I were to travel with it, I'd put it in a small Ziploc bag because the top tends to leak a bit on the bottle I got. Not much, but enough to make the entire bottle slippery.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Leaky container
    • Travel friendly

Personal comments

If used correctly, as in small amounts, this stuff is great. I bought the 2.5oz bottle and it should last me a long time.

The first two times I used it I hated it. Not because of the slickness but because of the huge mess I made with it. The first time applying it, I squirted some in the palm of my hand and rolled the plug around in it to coat it evenly. I then mistakenly placed that hand on the sink, and the lube was obviously transferred to the sink. With my other hand, I inserted the plug, got some on that hand and then turned the hot water on with it. I tried wiping it off the sink and faucet to no avail. I had to use glass cleaner to completely remove it from those surfaces. Then when I tried to get it off of the plug, liquid antibacterial soap wouldn't remove it. Again, I turned to the glass cleaner. And it's really hard to get off your skin without jumping into the shower.

Speaking of showers, I would hesitate to use this product in the tub or shower. It could definitely be a slipping hazard.
