JO premium lubricant - silicone-based lubricant by System JO - review by favillous

This is my favorite lubricant by far, and the one I reach for almost every time. It's got a bit of a hefty price tag, but not more so than most silicone lubricants, and due to the fact that I've never once had to reapply it, you really get what you pay for.

Because it's silicone, I would not recommend using it with silicone toys unless you know for sure that they are 100% pure. That leaves tons of other toys up for grabs, though. I especially recommend it for metal toys, though I do so not having tried it with one myself: I had a little on my hands once when I tried to grab a metal safety bar, and the slick surface nearly wound up resulting in my demise.

This product is great for sex in the shower, bath, pool, hot-tub or anywhere aqueous you can possibly imagine. This does mean that it's a little bit trickier to clean up, but some soap and warm water should do the trick. We try not to get it on the linens, because we worry that it might damage the fabric, but we've never actually had any issue with staining.

The consistency is much smoother than water-based lubricants, even JO's own H2O. This means that you need very little product to get a nice, slick ride. The downside to this, especially considering the fact that it's not very easy to clean up, is that you can easily wind up having used too much and have to make some adjustments.

The bottle is not at all subtle, so if you need some thing discreet, you might want to transfer it into another container. It has a push-top lid, which is easy to open and close with one hand, but the garish writing on the label leaves little doubt as to just what's on your bedside table.
