My First Silicone Lube

This is a silicone-based lube. It is, therefore, not safe for use with silicone toys as it will react with the silicone and destroy it. It is, however, great for any toys that aren't silicone-based. I bought it for personal/anal play, as my current fave toys aren't silicone, and the small bottle was the right amount for my uses.

The lube is extremely silky and obviously different from water-based lubes. It is much more slippery and longer-lasting than the water-based lubes I'm used to. It never dries up, so you really don't need re-application, and a small amount goes a long way. It's not super thick, but it's also way less runny than the water-based lubes I've used before. It doesn't drip everywhere like some do, which is nice.

It doesn't seem to have any taste or smell, from what I can tell. The feel of it makes me not want to put it in my mouth, so I haven't actually tasted it. I'm not sure why but, because of its thick, silicone-y feel, it seems like it would be really gross to have in your mouth.

The lube is really great for what I'm using it for. It lasts a really long time and is super slippery. I bought it for anal--it's really great because it doesn't dry up or get super tacky, and keeps me nice and slippery down there for the whole playtime, whether short or long. It requires soap and water to clean and is actually quite hard to get off, which can be a bit of a bother when you're trying to clean discreetly but have to spend ten minutes washing your toys multiple times. It's also very hard to wash off the body so I always wear thicker underwear after, as the cleaning just doesn't do the trick. This can be frustrating, but it's worth it for me. Everything that's touched it will always be a little bit slippery, as it seems to never really come off.

As it's silicone-based, it isn't compatible with everything, so I probably wouldn't buy anything silicone-based again. It's much longer-lasting than water-based, but I can really barely use it and have to make sure that if I'm playing I clean up well so as not to contaminate other toys later.

The package is just the bottle--it is not discreet and is obviously lube, however it's classier than many other lubes. It has directions on it, which aren't *really* necessary, but it's a nice touch. The bottle I got was very small, has lasted me a while, and is a good size.

I think my bottle is leaky because, when I took it out of my bag, there was lube on everything else--the leak emptied probably about a third of the product, which is kind of a waste. I cleaned it, which took a really long time, and made sure the lid was twisted on tight, but when I went into my toy box there was a stain on the bottom and everything was just a little slippery. I cleaned it again but still, every-time I go in, everything is all slippery. I think that my bottle is slightly leaky and, combined with the refusal of this product to dry up, it's going to be slippery forever.

The most special thing about this lube seems to be that it doesn't dry out, so it doesn't need re-application. This is a huge plus in terms of functionality and bang for your buck, but it's balanced-out by it not being compatible with everything.

I like this lube. It's really nice for anal and personal play, and is very silky and smooth feeling. The lack of compatibility means I probably won't buy it or any silicone lube again, and the leaky container is a bit of an issue for me, as it wasted some of the lube and it continues to get on everything.

It's super hard to clean up, and I much prefer something that's a bit easier and leaves less mess behind.

I like to use this for anal toys mostly, and have gotten my boyfriend to use it with my toy, as it fits the bill for keeping everything slippery and smooth down-under. I definitely found myself using way too much at first, as I was used to more watery water-based lubes that have to be re-applied often. The great advantage of this lube is that you know it will stay slippery, which is important for anal! It is rather inconvenient to have to switch lubes though, and I know my boyfriend doesn't always get why we need to switch. I'm always worried he might reach for the wrong lube!
