Maximus wins again

There's a reason it's called Maximus - it's the gladiator of all water-based lubes! I really enjoyed this lubricant. There's no odor or taste, and it's thick enough for anal play and not stringy or oddly textured. 5 stars!

Pros
Thick enough for anal, won't interact with condoms or toys, odor and taste free, neat pump bottle.

May sting a little with extra-sensitive people.

extremely useful review
Maximus is one of an infinity of personal lubricants out there. It's water-based. There are probably a zillion other water-based lubes out there, though.

So what's so different about this lubricant?

Look at the ratings on this lube. Look at the comments and the rest of the reviews. Do you see anyone that hated it? Do you see anyone who's tried it that even just kind-of didn't like it?

Of course not.

You don't see bad reviews for Maximus because it's a high-quality, junk-free lube that doesn't use gimmicks to sell itself. It won't break you out. It won't interfere with your condoms, toys, or whatever else you've got going on. It won't leave a sticky residue behind or stain your stuff. It won't taste icky if you get some in your mouth. It won't dry out every 5 seconds. It's thick enough to use for anal lube.

There's a reason why this lube is so popular. It's just a really good product overall. And with the awesome pump-bottle, it won't go to waste or get lost in the bed, either.

And we all know how much velocity can get behind a lube-covered bottle in the heat of the moment when it flies off the bed.

Maximus lube has a great consistency as well. It's not goopy or stringy. It easily stumps two of the 'leading' water-based lubricants; it doesn't drip and slide everywhere like Astroglide does, and it doesn't dry up fast and burn like KY. It's also thick enough for anal play without being too thick for vaginal play. It feels pretty close to the real thing.

And it lasts. You won't have to constantly reapply.

I gave this product 5 stars. If you're looking for a great water-based anal lube, look no farther - this is it.
Experience
I loved this fantastic lube. It's thick enough for anal but not goopy or slimy. It works great for toy-play or whatever else you want to do with it as well. The bottle is very convenient and doesn't really look like a sexual lubricant, so it can just be left on the nightstand by the bed if you like (that's where mine stays!). I didn't find that it tasted bad or left behind any sort of residue or odor.

It did sting the tiniest bit on me anally, but I believe that was my body not being ready, not the lubricant.

Great review! I recommend this lube to everyone! Seriously, even if they don't ask for a recommendation, lol. I really don't like the taste of it, but that's fine with me, because it's just that awesome. :)

Good review! This is my first lube and I like the way it works. However, my skin stings after play and it's fairly uncomfortable. Is there something you could recommend for someone with extra sensitive skin? Marilyn &

Maximus is Glycerin-free, but isn't paraben free. You may be reacting to those; I'd suggest looking for an all-natural, hypoallergenic, or paraben free lube. I'm sensitive down there too and it can be a pain - it's mostly trial and error to see what reacts with your skin and what doesn't Sad face
