Maximus - lubricant discontinued by Bodywise Limited - review by The-IT-Guy-And-My-Secretary

We have dealt for years with inferior products, especially lubes. Let me tell you... when you finally get it right it's a fantastic feeling.

When we first started doing reviews for Eden we did a review for a Fleshlight. We read into what lube to use with the Fleshlight and came across a lot of people recommending a product called Maximus. So wanting to make sure I was using the proper lube that wouldn't damage the Fleshlight I went ahead and got some Maximus to go along with my new toy.

Maximus arrives in a pump bottle with a seal over the pump handle. The seal lets you know that the product has not been tampered with. The bottle the product comes in has a volume of 8.25 fl. oz. It is Glycerin free as well as being L-Arginine free. The bottle has a picture of a roman coliseum as well as its contents and volume on the bottle. What I find funny about the graphics on the bottle is that if you were not paying attention while it was sitting out you could mistake it for being something along the lines of hand sanitizer or bathroom soap. Maximus has a package that even people into sex toys might not know what the bottle is unless they had heard about the product. You may also get an idea of what the product is if you pump it onto your hand expecting soap or hand sanitizer. You could get away with leaving this right out in the open but do not leave any of your toys around with the bottle because that might help put two and two together.

Maximus is a water based lube and because of that when it dries out as all lubes do it doesn't get sticky and cause irritation it just pretty much dissapears. Now as far as it actually dissapearing it really does not dissapear. The lube lasts much longer than average lubes and several pumps will last all of the time you need it to last. This is due to the fact that this specific lube has a very heavy glycol content. Glycol actually helps retain naural moisture in your body therefore it helps your body be less succecptable to irritation. For this reason it is usually recommended for anal sex. Most lubes I have used start off fine but they eventually get sticky and they leave a nasty film on your body after you have used them. Maximus on the other hand does not leave any film. It also doesent get sticky or have a smell or have a taste. Maximus since it is water based contains Highly Purified Water. It also contains Propylene Glycol Cellulose Polymer, Di Sodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Parabin, Butyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben and Propyl Parabin.

Now you are going to pay $17.99 for a bottle of Maximus and I know that is expensive. It is the best I have ever used and I have used them all. Keep in mind that for the money you are getting 8.25 fluid ounces so you are going to be stocked up for quite a while. This is your body and your expensive toys we are talking about here. Spending the extra money is worth what you get, trust me.

A major plus for Maximus is that it is a Bio-Static lube. This meants that it actually prevents the spreading of bacteria and other nasty things associated with lower end lubes. So not only does this lube actually lubricate, but it also helps keep your body healthy. Sure you can save money buying a cheaper lube but for the extra bonus of a lube that helps keep your body healthy you really owe it to your body as well as your partners body to keep you both as healthy. Plus that if you are a nympho like myself and the secretary, being healthy healthy allows you to have sex more often. Remember sick = no sex!

Maximus can be used on pretty much anything because of it being water based. You can use it on toys or even just your plain body for intercourse. It actually makes intercourse easier to get going. It also helps out big time when you are on to round three or four and you are starting to get sore or dry. (Remember DO NOT continue you are actually hurting yourself or your partner!!!)

Maximus is just simply the best I have ever tried and to be honest I doubt I will ever try another lube. It also has a fantastic texture as well as being long lasting and doesent have any taste or smell. It just does what it is intended to do and that is lubricate you at the right time in the right place.

We absolutely love our Maximus and we pretty much use it every time we play with a toy. We sometimes even use it on just each other without toys. Hi its the It Guy and the Secretary back to give you our follow up on our favorite lube in the world Maximus. Well I guess I that pretty much explains it right away. Since we have reviewed Maximus we have bought other lubes just to give them a try. The lubes we tried other lubes included Liquid Silk, KY His and Hers and Wet strawberry flavored lube. Im not going to say that they all were bad but they simply do not hold a candle to Maximus. The problem is once you have been spoiled by the best on the market you really cant go back to second rate lubes. We just put an order in to get our hands on a new order of Maximus and we have 2 other open bottles of decent lube in our bedroom. If that does not give you an idea of what we think of the product nothing will. Its worth every cent of its price, its the top of the line do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some Maximus. It is It-Guy and The Secretary approved! We still like... I mean LOVE It!
