Wet look thigh high stockings - thigh highs discontinued by Coquette - review by tami

These wet look thigh highs are made for Coquette I received them as a gift to go with a couple other wet look items that I have. They are plus size. They measure 35 inches long from the top of the thigh to the bottom of the toe when lying out flat. There is 3 inches of lace at the top of them that is 9 inches across. The toe does not sit right on your foot and the thigh high bunches up around the ankle and the knee. These are such a great idea and have so much potential to be so super sexy and compliment any piece of lingerie but I was so let down when I put them on.

I knew from the way they looked when laying out flat that something was not right with their shape. The seam is not positioned across the toes right and when it goes up the back of the leg it creates bunching of the material and makes your ankles look HUGE! These are a little bit too long for my legs my legs are 32 inches from hip to the bottom of my foot so that tells me why they are bunching (maybe a smaller size would not be as long) I love that they come in different sizes but I think they should also come in tall petite and average heights for a better fit for those of us that do not have long legs.

I had to get creative to get these to work with my whole wet look out fit that I had on so I just kind of spaced out the bunching so that it looked like they were supposed to do that and slid my feet into some cute pumps to hide the seam on the toes. I carefully strutted around the bedroom and posed in certain positions so that the focus was on me and the whole outfit but not mainly on the legs. I was able to make them work for us and I love the idea of the wet look thigh highs I just wish the toe seam was done differently. They are still getting 5 stars from hubby and I.
