Wet look thigh high stockings - thigh highs discontinued by Coquette - review by leatherlover

Intro
I first saw the wet look booty shorts, and thought they looked cute. But since they only offered the shorts, I didn't think much of them. But once these stockings came out, I knew I had to have both the stockings and the shorts. Unfortunately, some other people had the same idea, and these stockings went out of stock very quickly. Fast forward to a few weeks later, and I get a happy little notification from Eden saying that these are back in stock. Very quickly that afternoon, I went ahead and ordered these before they disappeared again.

Material and Design
These stockings are made out of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. They look strange when you pull them out of the package, but they stretched quite nicely to my wife's thighs. The only part of them that looked somewhat strange was around her toes, but this didn't bother me. Unfortunately this bothered my wife, and when she pulled them out recently for me, she complained that she didn't like them very much, especially how the toe area looks without shoes on.

Size and Fit
These are offered in one size fits most and plus size. I would say that my wife has average length legs, and she is 5' 9" tall. Her thighs are a good size, and maybe just slightly below average. The one size fits most stretched to fit her nicely, without being too loose, or being stretched to the point of being uncomfortable. She had no complaints about them being uncomfortable, or hot, or the stockings being scratchy. They looked great on her, and stayed up decently well with only the two front garters on from the wet look booty shorts. But remove the garters, and they quickly started to fall. But where we attached the garters to the stockings, there appeared to be no damage to the material luckily.

Packaging
The stockings came in a small plastic bag that was sealed with sticky tape at the bottom. The front has an image of a woman reclining on a chair, showing the stockings, her panties, and part of her top. We don't get to see her head. The back features the same image, albeit smaller, with info showing that this is made in China, recyclable, with a hand wash symbol, and three others that I don't fully understand, but I think they mean no dryer or dry cleaning.

Cleaning and Storage
For cleaning, we threw these in our wash machine on a hand wash cycle, cold, and then placed them flat to dry. I would definitely not recommend putting these in the dryer on any heat level, as they would probably melt. For storage, we have folded them up and placed them in a plastic container with her other small lingerie items and wet look pieces. This works fine, except that it is sometimes hard to identify what piece is what, and the wet look pieces like to stick together.

After having received these and the shorts, I went to Coquette's website to see what other pieces of wet look lingerie they offer. Thinking it might be just the tank top they show with the shorts, I was surprised to find quite a large selection of wet look pieces. From a catsuit, to bustiers, to skirts, even gloves, they had it all. At that time I wished that Eden would carry a few more of their pieces, because I would love the catsuit and bustier. And luckily now, many many months later since we first got these, Eden now does carry more of the products.

These are still a decent quality piece that has the look of leather without the price of it. However, for my wife, they need garters to stay up, the thicker material is slightly tricky to get the garters to attach, and she just doesn't really enjoy wearing them. They are still in our collection and will remain there, but they really don't come out very often. I would now rate these 3 stars probably.
