I got around this by adding a black garter belt. They also almost covered my whole leg. I do have short legs and this shows a bit of skin between the top of the stockings and my panties. Wet Look Thigh High Stockings is also very easy to take care of. Much easier than taking care of leather when you don't have much time or space in your home to polish it. All you have to do is use some luke warm water and hand soap in your sink. Wince out all the soap. Make sure you do not wring out the stockings. Hang them up to air dry. Just as a side note, they do take a while to dry.
