The Mia 2 is a great first-time vibe. Its vibrations are gentle and the patterns are varied. Couples with kids, or college students with roommates (basically, people looking to stay discreet) could have a lot of fun with this.

It's good for external stimulation or for vaginal stimulation, but NOT anal stimulation because it's very smooth and has no base whatsoever.

The material is body-safe ABS plastic. There's no smell or taste. It has no interesting textures, so it glides comfortably along the body for users who have problems with pain responses. However, it's terribly dull if you're looking for something with more texture. It's ideal for beginners, but not so much for advanced users.

I like the look of this vibe a lot. The Mia 2 is attractive and not at all intimidating. It's pretty discreet and could hide in plain sight in a makeup collection or, in a pinch, could be slipped into the bottom of a pillowcase. One of my favorite ways to use it (not, I suspect, its intended use) is to turn it on its lowest setting, fully insert it into my vagina, and then masturbate with my hands.

THE GOOD:
The Mia 2 is fairly quiet and it can't be heard through walls or from a fair (20-30 foot) distance away. Its controls are simple and intuitive.

As far as I can tell, it's totally waterproof. I haven't encountered any issues in function while using it in the shower or fully inserting it.

One charge lasts for a long time. I've used mine at least twenty times and only recharged it once.

THE BAD:
The Mia 2 has a slanted tip on one end and an oval-shaped tip on the other end. Unfortunately, the motor is in the non-slanted tip, so the vibrations don't transmit to the slanted end. As a result, using it for clitoral stimulation is too pinpoint for my taste.

It's not powerful and is about half the strength of the We-Vibe Tango. I'd expect it to either have stronger vibrations considering its volume, or to be quieter, considering how weak its vibrations are. It's quiet, of course, but other toys at the same volume are much more powerful.

The patterns can't be varied in intensity. I know this is common, but it's still a drawback for me.

Occasionally the buzzy, weak vibrations of this toy can partially numb my clitoris before I achieve orgasm.

Mia 2 can be used with any plastic-compatible lubes, so no need to worry about water-based vs. silicone-based. I keep it in the storage box it came in since it's not too bulky and it feels luxurious that way. Cleaning it off is a breeze; I just put it on travel lock so I don't accidentally turn it on and wash it with water. If someone felt the need, it could probably be washed with basically any soap.

The instruction manual is limited, but other than that, I like the packaging. It comes in a box with graphics of the Mia 2 on either side, but inside that is a smaller, matte-black storage box that's discreet and perfect for gift material.

I love that it's rechargeable and attractive, and I REALLY love that it comes with a warranty.
