Good little toy

The Essence pure energy is definitely on the small side but the vibration is nice and powerful. The nubs are a nice addition and feel great when rubbed against the g-spot or the clit. It could be used on the clit during sex, but I prefer to use it during solo play or have my husband use it on me during foreplay. The vibration is powerful while not being over stimulating. While it is powerful enough, I do wish it had different speeds.

This toy makes a great learning tool for discovering the g-spot. At first, using this toy did take some experimenting on my part to figure out just how to hit the right spot. This is a very basic toy and takes a good amount of thrusting to get it to work. You will definitely not be able to straddle this toy, as it is way too small for that. Since the vibrating feature is so loud, I have used this toy without turning it on and have been able to reach orgasm just fine.

I wouldn't recommend this toy to someone who needs deeper penetration to hit the g-spot. If you use lube, that will make turning this off and on kind of difficult because you need to be able to grip and turn the base. It is a little noisy, so sometimes I use a blanket to muffle the sound.

Even though it has a powerful vibration, it only uses one AA battery. It does not drain the battery the way some toys might. It's durable enough, I've had it going on 4 years now with occasional use and it's still hanging in there. I have never had an issue with it coming apart during use; just make sure you have closed it properly after changing the battery.

It gets the job done for me, which is a feat in itself, but it definitely doesn't knock my socks off. Since I used this as my first g-spot toy, I would probably not buy it again.

For g-spot stimulation this toy works best with heavy thrusting.
