Essence pure energy - g-spot vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by 1109

Energetic - for a while

It is waterproof and has a gradual dial base. The rubber tip is ideal for clitoral and nipple stimulation as well as all over body exploration. I did find that it was too rigid to be pleasurable when used internally. Although this toy was not ideal for me, it would be good for a beginner who doesn't want to spend a lot of money. It was nice as a first vibrator, but I was not disappointed when the motor quit working after a year and a half.
Cute, not intimidating, nice rubber tip, gradual dial base
Too rigid, vibrations too strong

This is good for a new toy user and will give strong vibrations to the clit. I couldn't really feel the vibrations too much when used internally - it felt more like a buzzing that was not painful or pleasurable - it was just there.

Material / Texture

This vibe is made from a very hard plastic - too hard to actually be pleasurable when used internally, in my opinion. I did really enjoy the bumpy rubber tip for use on my nipples and clit, and it was nice when dragging it all over my body. There was a light smell which went away after a while, but it did retain the smell of my toy cleaner after use. It was not strong enough to bother me.

Design / Shape / Size

The look of this vibrator was the reason I chose it in the first place - well, along with the price tag! It is small enough to not be too intimidating for a first time toy user and has what looks like a gentle curve, which made it appealing to me. However, in practice, the curve was a little extreme for my G-spot and did not provide much pleasure. I liked that the toy was pretty discreet. If people saw it, they would know it was a vibrator, but if you keep it in a bag, it could easily be hidden in a drawer.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibrator has a dial base which you can slowly (or not so slowly) increase. This was a feature I loved! I do like subtle vibrations at first, but I loved being able to turn it up without a jump; it's just gradual. This toy was definitely noisier than I hoped it would be. I really only felt comfortable using it when I was home alone or in the shower. This vibrator is waterproof and I used it a lot in the water! It did get a little too loud under the bath water, but was awesome in the shower. The vibrations are powerful - too powerful to turn up all the way on my clit, but it definitely has some settings I liked! I wish I wouldn't have had to change the batteries so often, but that might have been helped if I followed the instructions to take out the batteries when not in use.

Something I should note is that because it is a dial base, it occasionally turned on by itself if it was bumped. Of course, if I had taken the batteries out, this would have been prevented.

Care and Maintenance

Because this is hard plastic, it is a pretty easy to clean toy. I just used soap and water before use and a toy cleaner after use. The body of the vibe does not attract lint, but the rubber tip does. I always used water-based lube and stored it in a fabric bag in my closet. This was a very low maintenance toy.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

This toy came in a clamshell package with just an insert about the toy. I looked up how to clean and maintain this toy because it was not informative. You could store the vibe in the package, but it would not be discreet at all.

Follow-up commentary
Mine is broken, but I'm confident that after experimenting with nicer toys, this one would have been pushed way to the back of my toy drawer.

    Thanks for the review.

We don't like hard plastic toys for penetration, so this is definitely not for us. After reading your review, I'm not surprised it's discontinued.
