Essence pure energy - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Red Riding Hood

This is a vibe that is constructed for clitoral and g-spot stimulation. However, I could not comfortably insert it and decided to use is as a clitoral stimulator alone. The body of the vibe is curved slightly and tapered with a larger head and a thin handle. There is a flare at the base, making it a bit easier to hang onto than my other g-spot vibes. It's a plastic phthalates-free toy that is waterproof and has a rubber tip. The rubber tip has nubs that are supposed to be extra texture for the clitoris. It's easy to feel this with your fingers, but once it's downstairs I feel no nubs. The rubber is quite soft and I do enjoy that, so not being able to feel the nubs is just a small flaw in my opinion.

The entire toy is about 4-5 inches long and not a lot of that can be inserted, so if you're someone who needs length to fulfill their desires, you're out of luck with this toy. The tip is pretty wide, so if you're looking for a full feeling, it should be pleasing. The vibrations aren't fantastic, but I found them to be sufficient. The product itself transfers the vibration quite well, but the rubber tip seems to lose the strength. As much as I enjoy the softness, it does compromise the strength of the vibrations.

The battery chamber is located right in the middle of the toy. The on/off switch is altered by turning the bottom and top of the toy. To open, you pry the top and bottom apart gently. This makes the device seem cheap and not very long-lasting. However, this is a cheap toy and even if cheap toys are pleasing, they usually don't last too long. It is powered by one AA battery and pretty user-friendly when it comes to figuring out how the toy functions.

I'm not in love with this toy, but it's great when used to warm up or on extremely sensitive areas. It is pretty discreet in the way it looks, so if it's found by prying eyes, maybe it wouldn't be suspected as a sexual tool. It is a bit on the loud side, so beware if your walls have ears!

It is intended for clitoral and g-spot use. I only used it as a clitoral vibrator as I really didn't think the product felt comfortable when I tried to insert it. It has a wonderful curve for reaching both areas and is easy to hang onto with the flared base, but hard to clean up after with the creases.

I still maintain that the nubs on this vibe are unable to be felt. That said, I have started to enjoy the softness of the pad and how it transfers vibrations to my clitoris. I still prefer this item as a clitoral vibrator, although I won't knock it as a g-spot vibe. I've always preferred clitoral vibrators and I just find this toy to be better as such. The grip is easy to use and doesn't numb my fingers if I decide to go for more than one round of fun. I found this to be a major plus! It seems most of my vibes leave my fingers numb because of how I have to hold them which ends playtime a bit sooner. However, this vibe has a nice base to grip onto. This may be my favorite part about the shape of the toy.

I do think the curve could be a bit deeper on the shaft of this toy. I also think that multiple speeds would make it a better item. If those two things were to change, I believe my rating would be a 4 star rating. There were a couple of wonky moments where the battery chamber split and I had to put the toy together. This doesn't ALWAYS happen, but there is room for improvement. I'm still in love with the softness of the tip and the flared base. I have found ways to enjoy this toy and I didn't think I would like it so much. It's not at the top of my toy box, but it definitely deserves it's props.
