The Essence is the jewel of my collection. She's a small, discreet, little vibe that always gets the job done. This is my go-to toy for everyday use. I love that you can use the Essence for either clitoral or g-spot stimulation. She fits snugly inside, right where I want her. The tapered body of the shaft provides a nice pressure on the vaginal walls without feeling overstuffed. I especially love the bumpy pad at the tip for clitoral stimulation.

This toy is easy to clean and store. It's cute and feminine, and not at all intimidating. I would recommend this vibe as a great first-time toy. It would be a great bridal or bachelorette gift. For a relatively inexpensive vibrator, this one holds up well. I have been using the Essence for several years now, and it is still going. The only thing I have noticed is that it eats up batteries pretty quickly. Also, as the batteries fade, the vibration gets weaker, so I end up switching out the batteries often.

The plastic that forms the body of the Essence is hard and unyielding. Unlike silicone or softer plastics, it doesn't feel at all like the real thing. Depending on your preference that can be a good thing or a bad thing... I don't find it to be a problem. Also, depending on the amount of lubrication involved, natural or otherwise, this toy can get very slippery. I do find it somewhat annoying that it can be hard to grasp once inside of me. I usually end up pushing it out with my PC muscles when I switch to clitoral stimulation.

That being said, none of these little complaints are a deal breaker for me, especially considering the price. I think this vibe is worth it. It's my go-anywhere, do-anything, reliable little lady, and I love her.

I'm sure you know this, but never use an anal toy vaginally, before cleaning it thoroughly. No matter how you use it though, this is a nice, dependable, moderately powerful toy.
