Essence pure energy - g-spot vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Just Tigger

This powerful little purple vibe arrived in a simple plastic box with no fuss or frills, which kind of sums up the whole experience for me. It has only one setting, either on or off! The essence pure energy vibe can be turned on by it's dial base making it very simple to use. But it can be a challenge to turn it off, when you are all lubed up.
The vibrations however are pleasantly powerful, I thoroughly enjoyed using it on my breasts, thighs & around my labia. It was however, far too powerful to use on my clit.

I was amazed at the volume of noise this little toy produced, especially as it only uses 1 battery! Definitely not to be used with roommates about.

I found the Essence to be most effective in stimulating my g spot. Its total length is 5" and can be comfortably inserted up to 3". Its curve is well shaped to reach the g-spot easily, but the handle is too short to really have good control once inside. This does make it ideal for partner play though.

Although the toy states that it is waterproof, I have not used it in the shower or under water.

The main body of the essence is made of plastic, which although is non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex and phthalate-free, it really was not as sensually appealing as silicone. I actually felt the plastic made it look 'cheap'& unappealing. The tip is made of soft rubber which is great for stimulating the g-spot. The essence is compatible with water, oil & silicone lubricants.

It is recommended that the Essence be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water or by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol, however all the little crevices are really difficult to get to, which I found irritating and time consuming.

I have tried out this toy both solo and with my partner, in fact we delayed writing the review to play with it. While the on / off may be limiting for some, in that there are no options, I did not find that the vibrations made me numb. My partner felt that the toy had to really be angled up toward the G-spot and kinda disappeared, which was a little awkward, as there is not much to grip with should you like a bit of thrusting movement or massaging motion on your g-spot.

All in all this is an inexpensive useful vibe, however, it unfortunately looks and feels cheap, which detracts from the item and overall experience.
