This small, blue vibrator is meant to be used for both internal and external stimulation. The curve is meant to hit your G spot. However, it may be used for shallow anal penetration as well if you're careful; the base is flared and makes for a good handle.

It is also great for erogenous zones and clitoral stimulation - this toy has something for almost everyone. The shape is very curvy and forgiving, so if you have a careful partner this would be fine to use as a couple! The interesting thing is that this vibe has a flat base. This means that you can put it on a chair and then sit on it, which is a more realistic experience than most vibes give.

Unfortunately, I think that most advanced users would be disappointed by this toys functionality and quality, especially if they have owned some higher end toys as I have. Beginners will appreciate the shape and functionality, as well as the ease of use. Being waterproof, this one works well in the shower. It is a good size to travel with, but the silicone tip does attract a bit of lint so I wouldn't toss this into an overnighter unprotected.

This toy is made of silicone and plastic, but the tiny blue tip is the only silicone part. Both of these materials are nonporous and safe, but this toy still got an 8 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. This is because you should not boil this one! The plastic will melt and the motor will die and you will be generally unhappy. For reasons related more to design than material, please use a condom when switching partners or orifices!

Silicone naturally has drag to it, which lends a different texture and feel to the nubby tip than the rest of the toy. The plastic is smooth and slick, which can be a problem when it is covered in secretions, lube, or even water. It has no scent or taste out of the box, and hasn't taken on either of these after use and thorough washing. Unlike the appearance, there is NO GIVE to any part of this toy! It's very rigid, so if you're looking for something flexible then this in not for you!

This toy would be nice for beginner or advanced users due to the ease of use and safety of the materials. It's a nice way to experience a toy with a bit of drag to find out if you like that feeling externally, without splurging on a toy that needs a lot of lube to feel comfortable.

This toy has an interesting design and is actually quite functional. The shape is meant to hit the G spot (along with being used for nice external stimulation) and it does so quite well! I have a pretty shallow G spot and a moderately prominent pelvic bone, and this put a comfortable, nice pressure on my spot. It did not require uncomfortable positioning or twisting.

What I find interesting about this toy is that it can be placed on a flat surface and then sat on top of. This makes for a more realistic feel and reduces the need to position yourself awkwardly. The circumference at the widest point is 4.5 inches and the full length is 5 inches. It says that it's only 3 inches insertable, but I found that for it to stimulate my G spot I had to insert it past the turn dial control.

The small size and smooth shape make this nice for beginner or advanced users. If you are a 'size queen' or need something with a lot of length, this will be disappointing. But, for the price it is great to see if this shape works for you.

Its small size makes it easy to hide or toss in an overnighter, but if you leave this on a nightstand it's not exactly discreet. It's not realistic, but it sure doesn't look like an appliance or something of that sort.

For the price, I was surprised at the strength of vibration I got. It holds its own at 3 vrooms, but it only has one speed and no patterns at all. When first turned on, this toy is pushing 2 bees for sure, but as soon as it was inserted it became very quiet. If not for one fatal flaw, I would really like this toy.

But no, I couldn't just get an awesome toy for $11! This toy is UNSANITARY! The nonporous materials make no difference when there are seams and gaps EVERYWHERE for essentially no reason! Around the silicone tip there is a ridge where the silicone meets the plastic that was obviously given no thought before it left the factory. This may be a fluke, but the intentional gaps are even worse.

What looks like a flexible neck is actually a firm, plastic gunk catcher. There is no reason for the neck to be there but to catch gunk! It doesn't make gripping it easier, and since it's not intended to be inserted that far, it obviously isn't to add texture. The base also contains a hole that is even more difficult to clean than the tons of ridges on the neck! I'm seriously concerned about the cleanliness of this toy, and while it had the potential to be a great one, it's not going to be used often at all.

This toy is waterproof, which makes the intense cleaning sessions needed a bit less stressful. It is controlled by a turn-dial above the ridged neck, which unfortunately is difficult to turn off because of the slippery plastic.

As stated above, this is very difficult to clean. I do not feel confident that I got it clean and I used an antibacterial toy cleaner. You can also use soap and water, but I personally wouldn't plan on using this very many times. While being super easy to store, it is my most high maintenance toy.

I store in a cool, dark place with the rest of my toys. If you actually find a way to clean this well, remember to take the batteries out to prolong the life of your toys. Due to the silicone tip, silicone lube is not compatible with it. Also, don't let the tip come in contact with your other non-silicone soft toys such as jelly, rubber, etc.

When I received this toy, the packaging was smushed and wouldn't close properly. It is made of a flimsy packet and the toy itself is visible through the front. It gives almost no instructions or details about the toy. The Essence is held in a white, plastic tray that easily slides out. I'm using it for storage right now, but I would have preferred that it came with something a bit better. You get what you pay for in this case!

I would feel bad giving this toy at all as a gift, but I suppose that the packaging would be okay if you wrapped it first. There are no naked women or images at all on the packaging, other than a picture of the toy itself. It is easy to tell the purpose, but it isn't obscene about it.

While I LOVE the design and functionality, I am afraid to use this more than a few times. For an $11 vibe you get a lot of oomph for not a lot of noise, but that isn't worth my health. I really did enjoy the flat base and ability to set it on a chair and use it that way, so I will be looking for better quality toys with that feature in the future.
