Pleasure petals - traditional vibrator by NMC Ltd - review by MamaDivine

The Pleasure Petals was a free gift that I had wanted to try out, due to my recently bad experience with an "overly textured" vibrator. I am not usually one for texture, but this one seemed as though it might just do the trick with its slightly raised pattern that covers the vibe from tip to base. I found that it was just right for me, and would be a great vibe for just about anyone!


The Pleasure petals definitely has some "giddy up" to it. I was impressed with how much vibration that came along with this one. I would say its about a 4 out of 5 on the "rock your world" meter. It definitely provides deep and delicious vibrations that are sure to impress even the hardest to please. But, with power, comes the noise level. Its not something I would use in situations that you would need to be discreet or have others walking about. Its about a 3-4 out of 5 noise level. So keep that in mind.

The vibrator has a raised flowery pattern from (almost)tip to base that is just enough for stimulation and a unique feel, but something that isn't going to be tearing up your insides. The vibrator is made of plastic, but has a really velvety coating that makes it smooth and luxurious feeling. There is a bit of drag on this vibrator because of that coating, so I suggest using a water based lubricant to help cut down the drag on the skin. Oil based and Silicone based lubricants are also ok to use with this vibrator. I would say that, for most beginners, this vibe might provide a bit too much vibration and texture for you. However, if you're one of those folks that know what you like OR you just want to dive right in, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this.

The Pleasure Petals measures in at 7 inches long (with 6 1/2 inches being insertable). It is 1 1/4 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches circumference. It weighs in at 4.8 ounces. I like the size, its got enough to please, but small enough to pack and travel with. Will fit into most any purse or overnight bag discreetly.

For those of you that enjoy girth, this vibrator does have a bit more girth to it than most of the slim vibes, bullets or eggs. Not only does it have the girth, but it also has the length. So I would assume that either way you preferences tend to be, this is probably going to work for you.


At the bottom of the Pleasure Petals, you have a clear, plastic cover that twists off to reveal your battery compartment. This is also how you turn your vibrator on and off (just twist). The Pleasure Petals requires 2 C batteries, which is not going to be a common battery in most people's "fun drawer", so you may need to make sure you have these before use.

It only comes in pink (maybe more of a salmon color). The Pleasure Petals is also non-porous and phthalate-free.

For clean up, I would say that this toy is going to be a bit of a pain. Because you have the raised design on the side of the vibe, you're going to want to make sure you take a Q-Tip or body wipe and dig into those crevices to avoid anything sticking and drying onto the vibe. Using an antibacterial spray afterwards is always a good idea, to make sure to kill off any bacteria that may be left behind in those areas.
