Couture collection Amante - egg discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by aMutantDream

Couture Collection Amante is admittedly one of the better wireless eggs I have tried. But my initially high expectations of this product gradually declined starting from the moment I opened the EF package and took out the box.

The packaging isn't horrible, but it seems... not well designed. Imagine your mother/grandmother taking the initiative to design something for you in Microsoft Word and the result that soon follows. Needless to say, it was immediately thrown away.

The toy itself seems bulky, much more so than in the photos provided on the site. The rubber string attached to it feels like it will snap when you pull to remove it, but it actually is quite sturdy. I had first planned to get this toy in white, but after reading a review saying that the white string hanging down would look like a tampon string, I decided against it and got the purple. However, it's such a soft lavender color that I fear it could still be confused for a tampon string. I think a darker color would be much better.

The remote is by far my biggest issue with this toy. Why go the distance in making a nice toy that is to be used discreetly in public places with your partner (or solo), and then make the remote hilariously awful and easily spotted? Sure, I doubt people would figure out what you're doing. But it is definitely a cylinder shaped lavender remote that has no reference to the world, and would make people wonder just what the heck it was. I do not need people staring at the remote the mister is using to turn a vibrator on and off inside of me, thank you. I like the remotes that look like MP3 players best. Or better yet, Ohmibod having the amazing capabilities to control a wireless vibrator from an app on your smart phone.

If you aren't bothered by having to hide the remote at your side when using it in public, I would recommend this. It does have nice vibrations and variability.

This product went haywire after only using it a couple times.
If the batteries are in the egg, it emits a very quiet rumbly noise only audible if you bring it to your ear. This completely drained the batteries, which are a strange and hard to find size.
Not worth it at all.
