I think the best use of this vibrator is with a partner. If you are into power exchange type play at all, this could be very fun for you. I wanted to wear this in public and have my partner control the remote with the intention of teasing me. However, the vibrations weren't stimulating enough to do so. It WAS enough to get my attention, and that was pretty fun. I could see how you could use this vibrator in public if you enjoy humiliation. For example, turning on the vibrator right as your partner is trying to order her meal in a restaurant.

The vibrator has a plastic inner component for the batteries and motor. The outer shell is coated in silicone. Things like hair or lint do stick to the silicone, which is a little annoying, but it has rinsed off easily enough. The remote is made of plastic. The material is compatible with water based lubricant but not silicone based lubricant.

The silicone is smooth, but isn't as soft as other silicone, and there is more friction than other silicone-made products I've felt, like the Mimi by Je Joue. The texture would be perfectly fine for a beginner, in my opinion. I did not notice any smell or taste, and I'm pretty sensitive to things like that.

My initial impression of the shape was that it looked disturbingly like a sperm cell. However, I quickly forgot about that after inserting it. The size felt fine, but its larger size may have been what was causing it to constantly come out. I found that this toy stayed in best when I was just sitting down. The one thing I did like about it being larger than most bullets is that it gave me a feeling of fullness. It is very easy to be discreet with this toy in public as long as you are somewhere with some noise. The remote can be put in someone's pocket; it's quite small. In my opinion it's discreet and suitable for travel. I doubt most people would even know what it was.

Vibrations: The whole egg feels like it vibrates. I could feel the vibrations, but they weren't stimulating enough to make me have an orgasm. They were enough however to get my attention, and when playing with partner it was really exciting. I think it was more psychologically exciting. Once it came out and was trapped in my panties stimulating my clitoris. I think I liked how it felt better this way, but it was much louder. I am not easily internally stimulated, so this toy might work better for others than me. I was pretty disappointed that it didn't really tease me at all. There are 7 different speeds/patterns. I liked the first three, which were just different speeds. The patterns were OK I guess, they just didn't do anything for me.

Sound: In a quiet room, people will be able to hear it even inside of someone. The sound is very similar to a cell phone's vibrate mode, however, no cell phone vibrates for a long time continuously. So if you are going to use it around people discreetly in a quieter environment, you would have to only turn it on for a couple seconds at a time for them to actually believe it's a cell phone. Externally, it's much louder and obvious.

Waterproof: I have been able to wash it off under running water several times now and no harm has come to it. I have also used this toy in the shower and again no harm was done.

Controls: The remote is very easy to use. There are two buttons- one to turn the power on and off and another to change the speed/pattern. If you want to revert back to the lowest speed without going through all the patterns, you can just turn it off for a second and turn it back on.

Other: I have a pretty hard time opening mine up to put the batteries in. The remote is not hard to open.

This toy is very easy to clean, you can just rinse with soap and water. It's compatible with water based lubricant.

I'm not a fan of the box. It just looks tacky. There's like water spraying everywhere and lots of writing. I'd prefer it to be a little more plain. When I first got this, the pieces were all lose inside the shipping box because the box doesn't even stay closed. There were instructions inside, but they were very brief and not very helpful. You could use it as a storage box I guess, if you really had no better options, but I'm guessing pretty much everyone will. I didn't know it came with batteries, so that was a nice surprise, especially since they are pretty weird and hard to find.

Overall, I was really excited to have a toy that would turn me on in public with my partner. In this way, this vibrator was really disappointing. So I've had to think of other ways it can be exciting...like for use to get my attention or to humiliate me. I'm also disappointed that for whatever reason, I cannot get it to stay inside me while I am standing/walking. My only conclusion is that it must be too big for that. Other people may have a better experience, it would just depend on how easily internally stimulated you are and your size. I did wear it in my panties externally and had it stimulating my clitoris, which is better for me but it's just so loud when not inside me. So you'd have to be a loud club, a car, or at home to be able to do this discreetly.

We used this at home first, in combination with a clitoral vibrator while I was sitting on his lap and it was very fun. The next time was when I took a shower and he was on the other side of our apartment. It worked fine through the walls and the range was pretty good too. I had a hard time keeping it inside me. I probably had to push it back inside every 10-20 seconds or so. I thought that problem would end when I put panties on...but no it did not. So next we tried it with me sitting down in the car. This worked pretty well to keep it inside me, but I could barely distinguish the vibrations of the car's engine and the vibrator. Then we tried it at a park when we were meeting friends. No one knew what was going on so that was pretty fun. Even with it coming out, as long as you aren't wearing incredibly tight spandex pants, no one is going to notice. It's just an annoying feeling in my opinion, constantly having something feeling like it's falling out. I tried to insert it as far as possible, and this didn't help.
