Right Out of a Fairy Tale

The Fairy rechargeable wand massager is a massager style vibrator. The toy is not meant for internal, vaginal, or anal stimulation. The vibrator is primarily used for clitoral stimulation (though some actually use them to massage out kinks throughout their body).

It should be noted that there are attachments that can be used for penetration.

The Fairy rechargeable wand is fairly high (it's an 8) on the EF safety scale. The toy is made out of plastic. Unlike the Hitachi, in which the body is made out plastic but head (the part that actually touches your vulva) is made out of a less safe rubber, the head of the Fairy wand is also made of plastic.

While it may not be as safe as silicone, it doesn't have the sticky, drag, hair attracting side-effects of silicone either. While the head is quite rigid, because the toy isn't intended for penetration, the lack of give shouldn't particularly matter.

The toy had no smell, even straight out of the bag.

I really struggled with what kind of massager style vibrator to get, and what really sold me about this one was the small size of this and the lack of cord sticking out of the end of it.

Compared to many of the other massagers, this vibe is incredibly tiny. There's nothing better than being able to hold this vibe with one hand and not receiving a hand cramp after ten minutes. You can control the intensity of the vibrations of the vibrator through a dial. While it's great that you can gradually increase the intensity of vibrations, in my opinion, the dial is the opposite direction of what I initially thought it was. Sometimes in the action, I'll turn the dial in the opposite direction of what I want it to do.

This vibraotr challenges my natural tendencies. I'm constantly having my laptop and cell phone dying on me, and this vibrator is no exception. However, that is less a reflection on the vibrator itself as it is on my avility to recharge things.

I have had times when this vibe dies o my mid action. However, I find that I do get about 30-40 minutes of use after I charge it for a few hours (I tend to plug it in before I go to bed and then put it in my drawer in the morning). I find that it holds the charge for long periods (I've gone 3 weeks without using the toy and breaking it out of the drawer with it still holding a charge).

Where the toy really fails is the lack of true power. If you're like me, the appeal of the massager vibrator is the rumbly powerhouse they promise to be. While this vibrator is more powerful than most, it is fairly lacking compared to it's massager counterparts. It has fairly high, buzzy vibrations rather than the deeper rumblies I prefer.

This toy can be washed with some soap and water or an EF toy wipe. The toy comes with a light pink cloth storage drawstring pouch. Because of the massager's smaller size, you'd be able to get away with throwing it in a drawer somewhere.

Personally, I view this toy as more of a finisher than anything. A lot of people bought this toy hoping they could pop it out of the drawer, use it for 10 minutes, and be done like that.

I find this toy works best as a finisher. In that, I use some other toys to get me really turned on and then I bring this is out to finally bring me to climax within a couple of minutes. Because I only use it towards the end of my solo sessions, I avoid the numbness this toy is prone to.
