This beautiful little fairy packs a whole lot of power for such a pretty thing. Don't let the girlish theme of this product deceive you, it could have just as easily been named the "Almighty Rugged Massager of DOOM!" The head is ribbed slightly towards the bottom but is otherwise smooth. The texture is not personally noticeable to me, though I imagine it has to do with intensifying the vibrations a bit more in that area.

The total length of the Fairy Wand is eight inches, which makes this a travel-friendly alternative to the Hitachi. Unlike the Hitachi and some of its similar products, this massager is rechargeable and does not need to plug into an outlet to function.
The Fairy Wand is control through a multi-speed wheel on the body of the product. To turn the massager on, you spin the wheel down until you hear a click. The massager begins on a low speed, which can be increased by scrolling the wheel down further until it cannot move anymore. At high speed, this product has amazing power! (Hell, even at low speed, it's quite impressive!) Those who are not absolute power-queens might enjoying finding a nice spot in the middle for regular use.
The rechargeable aspect of this product is much appreciated! It adds a great level of convenience, as the product does not have to be plugged into an outlet to use. No more confining your bed to the wall with the outlet or fighting with long, annoying cords.
The wand comes with its adapter and has a super travel-friendly outlet port. The prongs can be adjusted so it only has to take up one outlet instead of covering a second.
When charging, a light on the body of the Fairy Wand turns green. It will turn off when charging is complete, which doesn't take long at all. Once charged, you have about a half hour of continuous play-time before you have to plug it back in.
Since plastic is non-porous, it is fairly simple to clean. Carefully wash the head in soapy warm water, making sure not to let water drip into the inside of the product. Be sure the charging port is covered and do not emerse the wand in water, as it is not waterproof. You can also use a toy wipe or spray to clean the head of the massager.
The Fairy Wand comes with a cute pink toy pouch to keep it in or travel with. Storing is that simple: place it in the pouch and put it in a drawer or toy box/bag. The included pouch adds a nice level of discreetness that the Pocket Fairy did not come with.
The charger and wand come in separate packaging, but are shipped together in a plastic bag. The charger comes in a small white box with Japanese writing on it. While I cannot tell you what it says, I'm glad to find that the adapter is for American outlets.
The pretty pink and white packaging is sticking with the feminine theme of this product. The front features a transparent window where you can see the wand. At the bottom, the word, "Fairy" and some product information.
The back of the box has more Japanese writing. I do not speak Japanese, but I think it's interesting to look at the product information in another language. Unless you know the language, the information is sadly useless to you, however.
