Almost Heaven by New Sensations - review by Joie de Cherresse

"Almost Heaven" is a romantic porn with a plot. The scenery and props were beautiful, and the quality was great. This is a great movie for those who are just beginning to view pornography, or those who aren't really in to the hard-core stuff. To me, this was more of a movie than a porn. There are no cum-shots and nothing really hard-core. All of the actors practice safe sex by using condoms. The camera work is great, but the acting could have been a little better.

The film starts out with Angie (Kiara Diane) who has recently passed away and has come to this crossroad of sorts. She is taken into a room where she meets Michael (Xander Corvus). He tells her that she has to choose one memory to keep with her in the afterlife, and only that one memory. She asks for an example, and this leads to the first scene with Brook Lee Adams and Danny Mountain. The couple is having an intimate dinner outdoors. They go for a walk and then engage in some very sensuous love making. The scene was rather long, and really nothing exciting or out of the ordinary. But it was very sensuous and romantic. Michael goes on to tell Angie the reason the woman chose this memory. She then tells him that she will need some time to think about what memory she could possibly want to bring with her. So she goes on to reminisce about special times that she and her husband, Jake (Chris Johnson) had.

Then comes the scene between Michael and his assistant Sara (Jessie Andrews) in the break room. Sara has the hots for Michael, but it isn't really apparent that he feels the same. In fact, he disregards her note she left for him before. She begins to daydream of the two of them making love in the break room. The scene is very romantic. Again, nothing really exciting, but it is another long scene. It's pretty much the same positions as the first sex scene. Sara's daydream is interrupted by Michael. She then goes out and meets up with Angie.

Angie and Sara sit for a while and chat. Sara gets Angie to tell her about a memory to help her make a decision. Angie proceeds to tell Sara about the memory of her and Jake. Sara then tells Angie what her purpose is for being there. She asks others about their memories to help her try to find a memory of her own.

Then along comes Alice (Victoria White) and her husband Joe (Rocco Reed). They sit on the bench with Angie. They talk a little about memories, and then Alice and Joe go off to "make a new memory". And this leads to the another sex scene. Alice and Joe share some very romantic love-making. Another rather long, drawn out scene using pretty much the same positions as the previous scenes.

Angie finds a room to rest and think of her husband. She remembers all the little things Jake did for her. After a while, she decides on the memory she wishes to take with her. She goes to find Michael to share this with him so that she can move forward into the afterlife. She finds Michael and shares her memory with him. This leads to the last sex scene of the film. It's another long scene, still nothing original. I'm not going to tell you what her memory was, but it was a good memory, and one that made me think of what memories I would wish to bring with me if I went to "porn heaven", as I call it.

I have to say, I thought I was going to enjoy this video. I thought this would be a nice change of pace to what we've been watching lately. Instead, we honestly used the fast forward button during most of the sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, this was a great porn for someone who likes soft porn, just not for us. There was no excitement between the couples. It was the same positions, over and over. This won't be one that we pop in often.

We're still not into this film. We tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and tried to sit through it once more, but we had to turn it off. It was making us lose our arousal more than give us arousal. It's not that this wasn't a good story and all, it's just not our thing.
