I have found through the Porn Club offered here at EF, that my tastes in porn are actually very eclectic but also oddly specific. I don't like porn where the actors look bored, jaded or just tired. Much like my tastes in more mainstream acting I like a little realism, or at least to have actors who look like they want to be there performing for me. I have rearely found a porn flick I like as much as I do the Live Sex Show by Trouble Films.
In this vignette style flick the watcher is offered six different little clips all of which are performed in front of a live audience and offer a realism that is rarely seen in the world of porn. Far from being formulaic and heterosexual normative these vignettes cater to a much wider range of tastes and sexual preference. None of the actors are airbrushed and naked of all body hair and all of them are enjoying themselves and the energy of the audience.

In the opening scene we are treated to Kimberlee Cline who offers up a strip tease and then masturbates for us. While only a few minutes in length it is a nice introduction to the concept of the film as when she is done she has a lovely smile for the audience who applaud her appreciatively. The camera work is sometimes shaky but overall it was a very nice beginning to the film.

Next Jolene Parton and Peter Devries treat us to a scene that begins with then kissing passionately on a bed set that looks amazing but, in my experience with such structures, probably looks better than it felt. They have a pretty normal porn scene with one notable difference: they are both natural and unshaved. Mr. Devries has a very hairy lower body giving him an almost pan like look that I was intrigued but slightly distracted by. Now I'm not saying it's unattractive just not something normally seen in a porn movie. Some of the camera angles were distinctly unattractive but this could have been an effort to appeal to persons who have a fetish for body hair. An entertaining effort if not 100% exciting for me, personally.

April Flores....what can be said about this large and amazingly lovely woman? She rocks both my guys socks and has a class that is just beautiful to watch! She favors us in this scene with a lovely look at her body as she masturbates briefly before matador wanders in. He is wearing a mask for the beginning of the scene but loses it quickly when he begins to preform oral on lovely Ms. Flores seems to find Matadors oral technique a bit lacking but is Lady enough to simply take it into her own hand, so to speak. The scene really takes off when she rides him briefly before giving him a blow job that had my guys jealous of Matador!

In the next scene I couldn't help but wonder if Tina Horn really enjoyed herself. Perhaps I am putting my personal preferences and body reactions on show here but it seemed as though it was a bit more rough and ready than the scene really warranted. Roger Wood co-stars in this scene and seemed to push his lovely lady a bit farther than she was seemingly wanting. Then again maybe he knows her preferences better than I do! I wasn't excited by this scene but then nearing the ned of the scene Ms. Horn and Mr. Wood stand as though they are ready for applause but the sudience tells them to go on if they want...and so they do! This is what was confusing about this encounter. It just seemed at times counter to what I would term completely consensual. It's not at all insane or even abusive just a shade off, if that makes sense.

Next we come to what has to be the crown jewel of this DVD; Nina Hartley and Jiz Lee. This is a scortching scene that draws you in with the banter between the two actresses and the actual scene itself. I have never seen a fisting scene that had me RIVITED! I had to watch it twice, folks, it's just that good! The scene starts with a brief negotiation that has lots of good natured laughter and sets up the whole encounter. Nina gloves and lubes up and then gives a performance that is sure to change the mind of any person, man or woman, who has ever heard horrible things about fisting. She even uses LUBE! I was spellbound as usual by Ms. Hartley but I found myself undeniably attracted to Ms. Lee. That woman is SMOKIN', jus' sayin'. Never a boring moment between these two I could just see the chemistry and genuine affection they had for each other. This is the must see scene for this DVD in my humble opinion.

The last vignette is a gang bang if Ms. Courtney Trouble, herself. Now I will say that it looks like most gang bangs I have been privy to but for camera it sometimes lacked visual appeal. This is nit picky little fault finding on my part as I am well aware but it can, at times, lose some of the heightened arousal factor. During the scene Ms. Trouble is asked to perform oral on a couple of strap-ons but you can only hear her muffled moans and gagging. Personally, I don't find gagging to be attractive but I am lead to understand that some guys actually LOVE to hear it so it's one of those times you have to say, "To each their own." This is an all woman/trans-man scene so the penetration is with fingers and dildos. I would have loved to see there be more room for the actors to spread out and enjoy themselves, or at the very least to have been able to see Courtney enjoying herself. She finishes with a pretty hot squirting scenehat draws applause from her partners as well as the audience.

There are no extras offered on this DVD. The camera work could leave the viewer with a the feeling he/she was watching an amateur production but at the same time it lent realism to the feel of the film for me. I loved the idea of the audience being there watching and could almost close my eyes and imagine being in the audience able to almost taste the actors. This was very appealing to me and left me wanting more.
The last line on the back of the box says that this film was, "made to financially benefit the Center for Sex & Culture."
