As far as Doc Johnson's Crystal Jellies go, this is my favorite shape jelly toy and I've gotten a lot of use out of it so far. I've had mine for a year or two but not without painstakingly taking care of the product. Water based lubricants are all I use with this product. (There is a distinct, strong manufactured smell upon opening this toy up.) You would almost think these were disposable because of the jelly material and its needs. This material cannot be thoroughly cleaned without soap and water. Disinfectant of most kinds will degrade the toy. Even more-than-mild soaps will cause the jelly to break down. Be careful with these toys! A designated jelly cleaner or a very mild soap and water combo will be fine but be sure to cover and store in your toy box after use. (Also, not cleaning the toy will result in a smell.) I do not share my toys - I never have! Ha. But if you were to do so with something so porous, use a condom between users.

As far as play, this is a great toy for beginners or those advanced users that need a little more oomph with their interactive play. It's got a great length to it, not too short or too long - around six inches is my preference for anal play. The base is nice and sturdy and makes it easy to insert and stay put. I can see this being comfortably worn for longer periods of time than other anal plugs as nothing gets in the way and it's comfortable. With a partner, this makes double penetration very fun as, again, it doesn't get in the way or take away from the experience. The bulbous knob progression is nice and easy, nothing short of thrilling at first and then completely comfortable as you move along.

Overall, this toy is very easy to use and super comfortable once you get past the idea that this is an attention-needy toy. Though I have taken care of mine to the best of my ability, there are still signs of wear and tear due to the sensitive material. My favorite type of play with this toy is with a partner but solo is just as fun. I would recommend if you like something soft but with stability.

For solo play, it can be inserted and kept that way throughout, it can be easily moved in and out, etc. And for partner play, vaginal or anal (be sure to clean in between!), it's good for double penetration or to keep in throughout partner play. These toys are wonderful for use in the bath tub because they respond well to water as lubrication. I would only advise to try to keep harsh soaps away from material.
