Green and great

The Amethyst is a solid glass double ended dildo by SSA glass. This glass wand is great for beginners but can be enjoyed by anyone. This is made for vaginal use to stimulate the inside of the vagina, especially the g-spot. You can use either end for different sensations. You can use this alone or with a partner letting them control it, just be sure they aren't too rough because you could end up getting bruised. Due to the lack of a flared base, I would not recommend using this anally. I wouldn't call this discreet, so I would be sure to store it away where no one else will find it.

Amethyst is made of 100% borosilicate glass. It is firm with no give to it. It rates a 10 on Eden's safety scale. Borosilicate glass is pretty strong, breaks are rare but it can happen so it's best to handle with care. Always check your glass before each use to be sure there aren't any chips or cracks. If it was to break it would break off into chunks instead of shattering into a thousand pieces like your regular kitchen glasswear.

There is no texture, aside from the bulges on one end. The glass is smooth and slick. Glass is prefect for any user.

You can also use temperature play with glass toys. The safest way would be putting it in a sin or bowl full of hot/cold water. Do not go from extreme heat to extreme cold.

This is a double ended dildo. One end has a bulb at the end to help stimulate the g-spot, making the bulged end great to use as a handle. The bulged end can also be used vaginally, this gives a bit of a "popping" sensation with thrusting. The bulges are pronounced enough that they can be felt. The size and shape is great for beginners because it is not intimidating, however, it can be used by any level of user.

Due to it being glass, I wouldn't recommend putting it in your purse, though it is small enough. It would be better off in a suitcase/overnight bag.

Compared to the Deep Water G

The Amethyst performs well for what it's for. For those that like g-spot stimulation or want to try to located their g-spot, then this is a decent piece for that. The fact that it isn't really long makes it easy to locate the g-spot and to hold on to. The bulged end makes a good handle for your fingers. You can also use the bulged end for a different sensation. It gives a bit of a "popping" sensation when used.
Any type of lubricant can be used with this but it does make it slippery if you get it onto the part you're holding on to.

Always be careful when using glass to be sure not to bruise yourself!

Glass is easy to care for. You can wash it in the dishwasher, with soap and water, toy cleaner, wipes or a 10% bleach solution. Any type of lubricant can be used with glass. When storing, take care that it isn't in a place where it could bang up against something solid an get damaged. It does come with a storage bag, but it isn't padded. Wrapping in some bubble wrap and then putting it in the bag is one way to store it.

It comes with a red satin-like bag but has no padding, so it isn't very protective. You could wrap it in bubble wrap or keep it in the bag but not real close to other glass where it could bang against and chip/crack.
