The Amethyst (yes, I know I have the green but alas, it's the name) is a glass dildo designed with a curve. That curve can be used for both G-spot or P-spot stimulation. The Amethyst does not have a flared base, but it can be used anally for teasing and P-spotting. It will not be an option for long-term use or hands free anal play, though. The size of the Amethyst makes it an option for males might have had a prostate toy or two, but are looking for something challenging, yet simple to use.

While it is glass and has a curve, I would recommend this as a potential first glass toy for beginners. The size is manageable compared to other glass toys and for the price, it definitely has versatility. Always be gentle when starting with a new glass toy until your find your preferences.

The Amethyst can be used for temperature play whether you like it hot or cold. The Amethyst does have texture. There are two ends and either one can be inserted. The wider end has three bulges. The first bulge is more tapered and the other two are more spherical. This end can be used to tease either the anal or vaginal entrance. The thinner end of Amethyst has an end roughly resembling a circumcised penis. Both ends are joined in the center of the toy by what look like a glass washer. The texture is present but can be an option for those newer to texture. When in doubt, lubricant is your friend.

Of course, everyone is different, but I think this sums them up well. The first two, the Nubby G and the Pink Passion wand, are both double ended, but are designed well enough that you can use the who length of the toy. I place the Nubby G above the Pink Passion wand because it has more of an artistic touch to it, such as the flower inside the bulbous end. The Nubby G also has a slight curve but makes all of it usable.

I place Amethyst in the middle of the list. It's not a bad toy, but I feel the toys above it are more artistic and appealing. Either way, there's enough variety out there to please anyone!
