Simple Glass Swirl

The Blue Swirl by SSA glass is a gorgeous bright blue swirly toy. The beautiful toy can be used for insertion either vaginally or anally (because it has a bottom - just be careful). It can be very pleasurable for both men and women alike. You can use this toy for solo play or couples play.

The options for playing with this glass toy are nearly endless. It is quiet (no batteries, no electricity, no moving parts). You can easily choose to play with it while your partner is sleeping or a roommate is in the next room – you don't have to worry! The material safety rating of this glass is very high, at 10/10. Some facts from the EF rating page: hypoallergenic, non-pourous and easy to clean. Glass material can be wonderful! But you should always note: as a safety precaution, you should run your fingers over the entire toy before each use to make sure there are no chips or broken pieces. Glass can chip or break when dropped or hit against something. Glass is hard and strong, but can be sensitive to a hit against the floor!

Again, one of the benefits of this material is temperature play. You can warm it up in hot or cold water if desired. It retains temperature extremely well and requires minimal lube for a slippery effect.

As for the texture, this toy is very textured. The entire length of the toy is raised swirls. The ridges are smooth and frequent. They are evenly spread and add a bumpy surface that you can feel inside of you.

This toy's design is straight and stiff, there is no curve (although some pictures show a curve, mine has none). It has a small base and a small bulbous head. The top portion is a clear bulbous head that reflects a phallic head shape. It is the thickest part of the toy. The shaft has blue and clear swirls down the length. The base is small, which means you should be extra cautious if using anally. The design is not too large for me, it is extremely pleasurable. I am on the beginner side as far as hard toys go, so I would recommend this for a beginner and above.

This toy is very satisfying for me when I barely insert it. I found if I try to push it in far, it begins to hurt. I am not sure if I have a short vagina or if I am hitting my cervix or what, I just know that I insert about 1/2 way and I am most satisfied. This also might be because the toy has no curve, and I need some curve in my toys.

I love how smooth it is and how easy it slides around. It is nice to hold on to the bottom base, I have a good grip this way. I find myself using it on me by rocking it up and down while it is 1/2 inserted. This toy's swirly design is just the right amount of texture for me, and I think it adds to the experience.

The Swirl is dishwasher safe and can be bleached. Or for a simple routine, when you are the only user, just wash down with water or soap and water. Since the glass material is nonporous – so you can literally just wipe down this toy. This toy can be shared if it is sterilized or used with a condom. If you choose to use lubricant with your Blue Swirl – you have the options of any lubricant around - including the common options: silicone, water and oil. But do note, with glass, you barely need any lube to get this toy slipping and sliding!

This toy came with a very nice presentation. It was wrapped in small bubble wrap, which kept it secure. (I made sure to run my hand against every single inch of this toy as soon as I took it out - and it was in perfect condition. Along with the bubble wrap, this toy came with a red velvet drawstring bag. This bag is a nice storage bag, but it is not padded.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with this toy. While it is not perfect in shape for me, it is a great size and the texture is just right. It is very satisfying on my g-spot - I've only tried it vaginally. I've used this only on my own, not with my partner, since I need to be careful with it going up too far and being painful. I will most likely not use with my partner because of this.
