Almost in Amore with the L’amour Pleasure System

The L’amour Pleasure System provides the user with subtle stimulation while strengthening the PC muscles. The balls may be too large for some users and may also pose some difficulties in cleaning. Nevertheless, they fulfill their intended purpose: they add weight to Kegel exercises, making them more effective.

The L’amour Pleasure System by California Exotics is a weighted Kegel exerciser. It consists of two plastic eggs with smaller pieces inside of them that cause the eggs to vibrate slightly with wear. A silicone cord connects the two eggs and also forms the retrieval cord. From end to end, this exerciser is about eight inches long. Four and a half inches of that are insertable, and that length includes the eggs and the bit of cord that connects them. The eggs are about an inch and a half in diameter and also have raised ridges along the sides. Given these specs, the L’amour might be difficult to use for someone that has never used Kegel exercisers before.

This is the first vaginal exerciser that I have ever owned, and I had some difficulty with inserting it at first; I have found this could be remedied with the aid of water-based lube. I wouldn’t suggest using silicone-based lube, as the toy is made out of silicone, and using silicone lube could compromise its composition. Once I have them inserted, I can wear them for fairly long periods of time without any discomfort. I usually take the balls out when going to the toilet because I tend to get slightly nervous about dropping them, but I haven’t found that this is a necessary step to take; the times I have worn them while going to the bathroom, I haven’t dropped them. I just moved the silicone cord to the side, like you might with a tampon.

All in all, I enjoy using this toy. I have found that it really exercises my PC muscle and, as a result, I have much stronger orgasms than when I neglect doing my Kegels with these balls. When I walk around with the balls inserted, they create a subtle vibration; instantly, I’m reminded to work my PC muscles by these pleasant sensations. The few times I have used the L’amour Pleasure System while masturbating have also been satisfying; the individual balls have just enough girth to provide a slight “full” feeling.
My main complaint about this toy is that I don’t feel it can be fully sterilized. The toy is made up of silicone and plastic, so you can clean it with warm soap and water, but I generally prefer to sterilize my toys by boiling them for a few minutes. Another part of the toy that makes cleaning difficult is the presence of rather prominent seams between the plastic and the silicone segments of the toy. These seams may prevent completely thorough cleaning, especially since you’re most likely relying on soap and warm water.

Since this toy cannot really be sterilized fully, I would not share it with a partner unless you are fluid-bonded with them. I also would not recommend this toy for anal play; aside from the inability to be completely sterilized, the shape of the toy doesn’t seem to be safe for anal use. I have never tested this theory, and I don’t intend to. However, the toy is great for vaginal use and can provide some stimulation along with the perk of strengthening your PC muscle.
Experience
When I first got this toy, I was really enthusiastic about it. I used it almost every day (and for several hours every day) without any difficulty. The added weight to my everyday Kegel exercises increased the intensity of my orgasms. I haven’t been using this toy lately because, the more I thought about it, the less comfortable I was about using a toy that has those germ-trapping seams. As a result, I now rarely use my L’amour Pleasure System, despite its ability to enhance my orgasms.

Welcome to Eden- if ryuson isn't your mentor already you should ask her to be- she's amazing. Great review tho- I just got the Luna balls mini by Lelo , they are much smaller but not as small as Benoit balls you would probably like them as they also have interchangeable weights
