The We-Vibe Salsa is an amazing, small, discreet powerhouse, multi-functional vibrator. Salsa is the ultimate clitoral vibrator that will be enjoyed by advanced and new users alike. It is smooth to the touch and very firm, there is no give to Salsa at all. The power/control button on the bottom is made of a soft material that is also smooth. There is no apparent smell or taste to Salsa. The smoothness makes it glide easily over your body but I might add that it can be a little slippery to handle if you go lube crazy.

This really is a petite vibration that fits in the palm of your hand and is easy to handle with two or more fingers. The slender, sleek shape is very nice. From the low to high to the teasing modes, anyone is bound to find a function or functions that they love. The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire vibe. To turn Salsa on you press the button on the bottom. It starts off on the low setting until you use it the first time then after you turn it off and back on again it will start on the function you turned it off on. To turn it off hold down on the button for a few seconds or cycle through all the functions. You can't skip functions, you have to go through them to get to the one you want. What I mean is you can jump from Low to Wave.

Salsa has a charging time of 90 minutes with 2 hours of play time depending upon what modes you use it on most. It is charged by a magnetic base that plugs into a power supply and into an outlet. It can be tricky so when putting it on charge you need to make sure the metal parts on the bottom of Salsa and the charger come together. It can tip and fall off the base so I lay it down flat somewhere that it won't get bumped. While on charge an LED light will turn on, when fully charged the light will go off. The LED light also comes on while in use and blinks along to the tease settings and stays on constant on the steady vibrations. When Salsa needs charged the LED light will be red to alert you.

Salsa is very quiet for how powerful it is but be sure not to let it come into contact with something hard (ie: a ring on your finger) or it will be loud due to the power, otherwise you can relax and not worry that someone in the next room or in the hall will hear it because they won't. Adding a blanket over your hand/vibe will greatly reduce what little noise it does emit.

Salsa is waterproof but I have yet to use any of my toys in the bath or shower so I cannot give an opinion on how it plays out in that department.

To clean your Salsa you can use mild soap and water, wipes or a toy cleaner. The plastic material is very easy to clean and care for. It is recommended that you only use water-based lubricants with this toy to keep it in great condition. It comes with a silky storage bag that is big enough to store Salsa, the charger and the charging base and this is how I store mine. You could also keep them in the product box if you wish because each part has it's own place that it fits into.

The We-Vibe Salsa comes in a nice, tasteful little box. It isn't discreet as the toy is featured on the front and it says 'personal massager'. The back states that it's intimate pleasure for solo or couples play. It has 8 vibrations modes, ultra power, rechargeable, waterproof and for external use only (though you could insert it 3" in taking care not to let it slip inside then have to play go fish to get it out).

Personally, this vibe is my absolute favorite for clitoral stimulation. I've been searching for awhile for something that is powerful enough and this does the job! I used to avoid plain plastic going for soft coated or silicone but after using this it is no longer important. This toy is just amazing!

Usually I get a vibe that has several functions and I don't end up liking all of them but with Salsa I can say different, I enjoy all 8 modes. It's great to tease and stop the build up by dropping back down to low after using it on ultra. The teasing modes are wonderful for prolonging your pleasure and the 'big O'. Some days it varies on if one setting is too intense or not but I find them all pleasing in their own way depending on the mood. I had the Tango as well but had to send it back for a replacement due to a default and I had the points and extra cash on me and after much debate I decided I had to have Salsa too. I didn't review the Tango on my account but I worked on it with my fiance here if you're interested: link . I read a review where someone had one and used the other for backup when one dies and I thought that was a great idea! I also like having the slanted tip of the Tango or the pointed tip of the Salsa incase I crave one more than the other at some time. I also noticed that when pressure is applied at the tip of Tango the vibrations weaken SLIGHTLY but not so much at all with Salsa which people may want to consider if deciding upon which to purchase.
I can't stress enough how great this toy and Tango have been for me. I've finally found a clitoral vibe that fully satisfies me, makes my toes curl and drives me wild! When direct stimulation becomes too much and gets me almost to the tip of the mountain it's great to caress the other outer parts of your vagina. I love how discreet and quiet is, now I can enjoy myself without constantly worrying that someone is going to hear it.
