Salsa is rechargeable using a magnetic disc that has a hole for an AC/DC adapter, which plugs into the wall. Upon arrival, Salsa needs 90 minutes to charge before he is ready to go. The charge seems to last 2-3 uses of about 30 minutes each use, but come the third use it does get weaker. If it is going to die soon enough it does not completely die, it leaves enough battery to click and flash the light, which lets you know it needs to be charged. Charging time seems to only be about 30 minutes. You will know that Salsa is charging because the tiny neon yellow on the magnetic disc clip will be on. You have about 70" of a cord for charging.
Salsa has 8 options to pick from, which range from steady vibrations to pulsating. The functions are as follow:
1. Steady, Buzzy, low vibrations
2. Steady, Buzzy, Medium Vibrations
3. Steady, Rumbly, Medium Vibrations
4. Steady, Rumbly, High Vibrations
5. Pulsation in a pattern on 9 by on, off, then jumps like in a pulsation
6. Starts off high and goes to low but never off just duals
7. Steady pulsation
8. Pulsation pattern that is counts to two and then to three
You must go through all the vibrations to shut off Salsa, since there is only one button. When Salsa is on, the bottom of it lights up with a yellow light, which does blink with the vibrations. The vibrations are located all over Salsa and do numb your fingers over time. Salsa also does tend to warm up after about 30 minutes. However I still highly recommend Salsa for the power lover's, so far he is the most powerful one I have found that really allows for you to apply pressure to the clit, which I need. The sound of Salsa is tolerable and can easily be drowned out with sound. I even use it regularly lying next to my sleeping husband. Salsa is waterproof, but it does tend to heat up underwater.
