Tenga is a popular brand for several different male masturbating toys. The flip holes are the high quality end of the Tenga line designed for multiple uses, intense pleasure, and easy cleaning.

The Tenga Flip Hole line is an innovative step for male masturbators. Much like the Fleshlight line, the Tenga Flip hole toys are designed for inserting and thrusting the penis for maximum pleasure. Basically, it's wayyy better than your hand.

Ladies, you tired of giving a blow job or hand job? The flip hole comes in four unique textures that will excite and please your man, and it will be a heck of a lot less work for you! The RED version of this toy is suppose to be less intense than the Black model, but more intense than the basic one. It sports several different unique textures, from bumps and nubs to swirls and other crazy things. The texture change is one of the major differences from the Fleshlight line. Most men will absolutely love this, others will find it lacking and a bit strange.

This hand held toy is probably (from a woman's perspective) my favorite toy to use on my man. The Red flip hole is intense for him (meaning that I don't have to work to hard), unique to his taste (you can customize and change the sensation with the outter 'buttons' read the design section for more on this), by far the easiest toy to clean and store, and, the final kicker, it's the lightest one in our collection so my arm isn't exhausted by the time he's finished!

Overall this totally awesome, fully waterproof, totally awesome, crazy textured toy is worth the buy for any man seeking something a little different, or any woman who wants a quick easy way to get their man off.

Now, each color in the flip hole line sports a different texture. I've decided that it would be nice to have a place to compare all the textures and read a little about them in one place so you can decide which one will best suit you needs. We will start with RED because that's what we are reviewing here (and because I love the mixture that Red gives between all the different toys).

Red: Tenga Flip Hole Red is said to be one of the more intense in the fliphole line, meaning there is a lot of texture going on, but it is less intense that the Black model. For someone looking to experiment with new texture, or someone who knows they like a moderately intense texture, Red is an excellent choice! It's middle of the road in both intensity and firmness.


Black: The Black model in the Tenga line is the most intense. It's dual layered and will be packing an extra punch with it's updates. Black also has the most going on with its texture. If you can handle it...it may be your dream come true. It will also be the hardest of interior textures.


White: The White model is the softest of the textures, and sports a little bit less crazy texture because of this. It's still a sublime feeling and perfect for a more sensitive man, or a man who doesn't like the craziness of the Tenga textures.


Silver: Based on the Tenga Flip Hole comparison chart, Silver is going to be the smoothest toy in the line, but it will also provide you with the most suction and a slightly firmer elastomer. This might be a good choice for a smaller guy because of it's tightness.

Each toy is made of TPR silicone which is what allows all the fun individual textures. Textures range from ribs to orbs to nubs and everything in between as you can see above. They also range from softer to harder. White being the softest, black the hardest. TPR silicone is a 6 on the Eden Safety scale sporting features such as being Hypo-allergenic, Latex free, and Phthalates free.

I've noticed also this material doesn't tend to get as "sticky" after use as the fleshlight toys do. Tenga also advertises that you only get 50 uses out of your flip hole...they have under estimated that number. Proper care will lead to a much higher number of uses.

Another cool bonus of the material and texture of the Tenga's is that each side is different. So...flip it around and it's an entirely different sensation. There is tons of versatility in these toys.

The design is where Tenga scores an immense amount of points for me. It's only 6 3/4 inches in length, as opposed to the solid 10" of the standard fleshlight. It's even smaller than the 8" frame of the darling Fleshlight Flight (another one of my favorites to use because I'm a girl and the little ones aren't as heavy!). The Tenga weighs in at about a pound and a half, which is close to the standard fleshlight, but the smaller size makes it easier for a girl's hands to grasp.

Tenga advertises to fit up to any size, though the depth of the interior is about 6", so if you are particularly well endowed it might be a little short. The opening hole of the Tenga's also are a little looser than some of the fleshlight models, but this can be made up for by the "buttons" on the side of the flip hole. These buttons allow for pressure to be applied at three different spots, customizing your sensation for a tighter fit. Each button provides pressure at a different space and can also be used for added suction. Each of the three "buttons" can be used independently or together for a lot of different sensations to be achieved!

As if the fun customization aspect of the flip hole's pressure wasn't enough, the way Tenga designed the flip hole for both storage and cleaning is absolutely fantastic (especially from a girl's perspective). Tenga Flip Hole's have a "cap" which can be slid all the way off and is used to hold the toy together during use, cover it during travel, or acts as a stand for drying after cleaning. Because of the easy cleaning, the cap like cover for lint protection, and the small size this toy ranks fairly high among it's competition for it's discreetness and ability to travel. It will also fit a variety of users, which scores it some more bonus points.

As far as function goes, the toy does it's job with ease. No matter what color you choose in the line, beginner or advanced user, you will almost certainly get off with the Tenga toys. As a lady, I suggest this toy because of it's small size and easy cleaning, as well as the ability to customize the sensations to your taste.

As far as functions go, the Flip Hole Line has three "buttons" on each side. Each button provides a different amount of pressure on the interior of the toy. This makes your toy use totally coustomizeable for every use and makes you able to get exactly the kind of feel you are looking for.

Tenga is going to perform with no problems in the water, although it is a little louder when it's all wet.

Texture in Tenga Red, as mentioned above, is very intense. It allows me to create the quickest "quickie" for my man. Tenga Flip Holes are easy to figure out, easy to use, but won't feel very realistic. So if you're looking for something different, here you go!

Care and maitnence is where Tenga takes the cake on all other masturbators. It's flip design allows you to fully open the toy for cleaning, apply lube, and whatever else. The "cap" also serves as a way to dry your fliphole (something that proves to be difficult with other masturbation sleeves!) Store it with the cap covering the top, in a place that won't attract too much lint or pet hair, and enjoy it often! As mentioned before it will out live the 50 uses that are advertised. Also, it doesn't get "sticky" the way many of the fleshlight toys do, which is a huge bonus.

Use only water-based lube to prolong your toy's life and clean it with your favorite toy cleaner, or mild soap and water.

Tenga Flip Holes come in round, plastic packaging which will include a small instruction booklet, three different sample lubes, and that's about it. It'll be fully recyclable, and it is pretty, but it isn't really reusable and won't be suitable for storage.

As I have stated before I appreciate the Red Tenga Flip Hole. It's high level of intensity is always good for when I want to get my man off quick, have easy clean up, and move on with my day. Overall, there isn't much I don't like about the flip hole. The minor flaws can easily be overcome by the pure awesomeness of the design. I love the little size, the cleaning and storage capabilities, and he loves that the toy is unique. Now, I'll be honest, his favorite texture is still the Spider Realism, but he never protests when I grab the Tenga Flip Hole Red!
