Unlike the old MiMi where you had to hold down the “+” button to get to the patterns, this you don’t have too. I love that they bring that over to the Mio.

At any time when in the patter section, you can press the "+" or the "-" button to increase or decrease that certain pattern. The vibrations are very strong, and at its highest setting can maybe be too strong for some. The vibrations are also very quiet. You won't be able to hear them through the covers so this is perfect for roommate living. The vibrations can be a little rumbly at time.

Like the other items in the Je Joue line the Mio is rechargeable. You don't have to worry about running out and buying batteries for it. The charger connects to the Mio through a magnetic charger. The charger can't be put on the wrong way because the magnetic force won't allow you. It took me about 2 hours to charge mine completely and I've used it for about 90 minutes so far and it's still going strong.

There is this little light in the shape of heart on the front when the Mio is charging that little light will flash but when it's done charging the flashing will stop. This is how you know when it’s done charging. When you plug up the charger into your wall there is a little blue light that comes on, this lets you know that your Mio is getting electricity. When you unplug it the light does stay on for a few seconds after it's unplugged. The only problem with this just like the second generation Mimi and the Uma the buttons where hard to push.

Caring for Mio is very easy just like most items. Mio is made out of silicone and is also waterproof. You can wash Mio with mild soap and water. You can also use 10% water and bleach solution. You can also use your favorite toy cleaner. You cannot put Mio on the stove because it does have a motor. When you aren't using Mio you can use the box for storage or you can house it somewhere else. You should only use water based lube with Mio and nothing else. Mio does collect a lot of lint so was before every use.

Just like all of Je Joue items the Mio comes inside of a nice box. The outer box has the logo of the company and on the back of the box the item is pictured. There is also some information about the item. When you open that box, you'll notice that there is a second box. This box is all black with the Je Joue logo. This box is very discreet and can be given as a gift. The box is very nice and can be used for storage. The Mio's box is also much smaller than the Mimi's box. Once you open the box and remove the top there are two compartments. The Mio is the first thing you notice and there is a little door, inside this door is the charger and the manual on how to charge and care for your Mio.

I ordered the Mio without really talking about it with my boyfriend. I just ordered it and hoped for the best. When we got it home and took it out of the box, the first thing my boyfriend said was "I'm not trying that". I asked him why? He was like "look at that thing, its small and it looks painful". He didn't want to try it, but I talked him into it, and he loves it. When we first used it we tried to put it on without and lubrication and it was somewhat painful for him, and then we tried putting it on with lube and it slid on without a problem.

I don't know if it's just my Mio but when on the lower setting the vibrations are continuous but it isn't like vibrations. It reminds me of something that is a bunch of tiny burst of vibrations, but when you get to the highest setting they become normal. I don't know how to explain it, it's very different.
