Mio is a waterproof, vibrating cock ring by Je Joue. This ring is used by men to increase their size and stamina during solo and couples play. I personally feel that this toy is better for use during sex with your significant other because of the intense vibrations that it gives off. However it could easily be used for your own solo enjoyment as well if you really enjoy vibrations. This ring is beginner friendly as well as being great for experienced users. However, I feel that experienced users will tend to gravitate towards this cock ring over beginners because of the high price tag.

Mio is made of high quality silicone that can be compared to that which makes up MiMi. Silicone rates a 10 on Eden's material safety scale. It has the safety features of being a food-grade material, hypoallergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. Silicone retains heat well while repelling water. Water based lubricants are compatible with Mio. Be sure you do not use a silicone based lubricant as it can ruin the material. This ring is not a complete hair and lint magnet, as it picked up very little of anything during use, charging and me writing this review. It will pick up a little but it easily wipes away.

This cock ring is odorless and tasteless right out of it's packaging. It is seamless but there is a small mold line surrounding the outside and inside of the ring. It is fairly noticeable holding the ring in your hand, however it is unnoticeable during use. Mio is incredibly smooth and has no texture besides the small Je Joue imprint, which also happens to be stamped onto the MiMi.

Mio is incredibly stretchy along the bottom of the ring. It has enough stretch to easily fit over both your shaft and testicles with a little lube. The top is fairly hard, but that was expected considering the fact that it is holding all of the mechanical aspects of the toy.

Mio is available in two different colors, black and purple. I chose black since I got my fiance the purple MiMi. Mio is intended to be a cock ring but can easily be worn over both the shaft and testicles. When only wearing Mio around your shaft, it is very easy to put on without any lube and it slides right on. When wearing Mio around your shaft and testicles, it still is very easy to put on. You do not have to use lubricant to get the ring on but it is advised to make it a bit easier. I have not experienced this ring pulling at any hair taking it on or off, with or without lubricant. Mio has a length of 2 1/2 inches unstretched. It has unstretched diameter of 1 1/4 inches. It has a stretched diameter of 2 1/4 inches. It has a width of 1 3/4 inches.



I feel that Mio will fit every man. Especially if you are only sliding it around your shaft. If you plan on sliding it over both, I feel it will fit most men unless you have an extremely thick shaft and large testicles. While wearing Mio only on my shaft, I found that I would enjoy it to be a bit tighter (I personally prefer tight rings). While wearing Mio over both, it was tight enough for me without cutting off blood flow to the point where it was painful.

I found Mio very comfortable to wear and both my fiance and I really enjoyed the vibrations that Mio gave us. We found the best positions to get the most out of Mio was with either me on top of my fiance, or her on top of me. When we were in these positions, Mio was easily able to access her clit and leave me with my hands free. We both enjoyed this since I am able to pleasure other parts of her body. Despite it's looks, Mio is not top heavy and stays in place fairly well.

Mio is very easy to operate. It has the same buttons as MiMi, but they are much easier to press. To turn Mio on, you simply hold the + button for about three seconds. Simply press the + once to move up in speeds. You can cycle through the five different speeds that Mio has to offer. To decrease speed, simply press the - button. To turn Mio off, hold - for about three seconds. Mio's buzzy vibrations start off with a bee and vroom of about two. The highest setting has a bee of three and a vroom of four. The noise level seems to decrease by one bee when it is in use, between both partners. It's highest level is equally comparable to MiMi's highest setting.

Mio also offers 6 different pulse patterns. To access the pulses, you hit the S shaped button that is in between the plus and minus. At first glance, the "S" does not even look like a button. I was wondering how to access the patterns till I noticed this "button". Unlike the plus and minus, the S does not stick up and doesn't look much like a button at all. Unlike the other buttons, this one is semi-hard to press and does take a little bit of effort. The pulses are very similar to MiMi's as well.

The plus, minus and S button all make a small clicking noise when being pressed.

Mio is very easy to care for. Simply wipe Mio down with warm water and soap or you can use your favorite toy cleaner/wipes. I would not advise putting Mio in your dishwasher or boiling it, because of the mechanical aspects. I would not want to risk ruining the toy. Let Mio dry completely before putting it back into the box. You can do this by wiping it down with a towel or letting it air dry.

Remember that only water based lubricants should be used!

Charging Mio is a breeze. Simply place the charging dock over Mio's buttons and the magnet will pull it into place. This is the same charging method as MiMi. During charging the light will flash. The flashing light stays a solid red when charging is complete. Mio needs to be charged for two hours and a two hour charge will give you two hours of playtime. During charging you will hear a high pitched humming noise but it hasn't been an issue, it still charges normally.

Mio's packaging is similar to MiMi. It comes in the same jet black box but does not have to be tied into a bow. Upon opening the box, you will find Mio placed in a plastic cut out. Next to Mio is the charger and instruction manual. I prefer this setup compared to that of the MiMi because you do not have to deal with lifting the annoying plastic insert every time to remove the charger. The only downfall to the packaging (compared to MiMi) is that if you pick the box up from the top, the top will slide off. This being said remember to pick your box up from the bottom so you do not drop it. The packaging is perfect for further storage and this is where I will be keeping my Mio. I'm not going to lie though, paying $100.00 for a ring I would have enjoyed receiving a storage pouch as well. However I cannot complain too much because the box is not bad. It would make a perfect gift for the man in your life.

This was the first vibrating cock ring that I have tried so I cannot compare it to any others. This being said I am very pleased with Mio being my first. I suspect that we will have Mio for a long time and this is now my favorite cock ring. We were both surprised by strength Mio has. This is the perfect ring for couples as it provides a lot of great vibrations. My fiance loved the fact that this ring basically turned me into her favorite "toy". Her favorite position while I wear the ring is with her legs on my chest. She said she could feel the vibrations throughout her vagina, clit and ass and absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend this ring to anybody looking for a high quality, rechargeable ring!
