Everyday & Berry Blossom Hand Lotion

These are a nice on-the-go lotion, but beware, the scent might be too much for you. I did not notice these being any more moisturizing than other brands of lotion, and were less moisturizing than some of the better drugstore brands. If convenience and aroma is what you are looking for, this lotion will satisfy you.

extremely useful review
I received these as an Easter gift from my husband who spent a mere $4.00 apiece at Walgreens. These are very pretty and compact and were the perfect color for Easter. He got me the mint green Everyday hand lotion and the pink Berry Blossom. The decal on the front claims that the lotion is 97% natural and is paraben free.

The size is very compact; shaped like the small, round soaps that are included in bath sets. They will fit nicely in your purse, but I would suggest taping the top so they will not open up and leak. These containers hold 1.5 ounces and will be used up fairly rapidly.

The mint green Everyday smells like men's aftershave. More specifically, Barbasol shaving cream. I cannot tolerate this smell, my husband gave my funny looks all afternoon when I was wearing it. I finally asked him what the deal was and he said I smelled like a dude. Well, not what I wanted to hear, but it was at least the same opinion I had after applying this hand cream.

The pink Berry Blossom did get a better review by him, but it was still not a great performer scent-wise. It smells like old, pressed flowers with a barely there fruity overlay. Too perfumey and strong for my taste, I had to wash it off when I started to get a headache from the aroma.

The hand cream does absorb immediately into your skin and leaves just a hint of a slick feeling. That only lasts about 3-4 minutes until even that has absorbed completely. The aroma, however, lingers for over an hour. I had to remove mine due to it being too overpowering and starting a major headache.

My hands did feel a bit softer, but not as much as when using Lubriderm or another brand of lotion. I personally feel the draw with this product is the convenience of their packaging. This does wash off if you get to it within a half-hour, but does leave some of the scent on your skin. It is tolerable, though after that point.

Follow-up commentary
After using this lotion for about a day and a half, I noticed dry skin patches on the back of my hands. I have since discontinued using this product and have re-hydrated my hands with other lotions. I am not sure why the dehydration happened, but did nothing out of the ordinary when I was using this product. This may not happen for others, however I feel it needs to be mentioned.

I want to try the cucumber melon which hopefully isn't overpowering and I think that I'll add it onto an order simply for the convenient packaging so I can have this in my purse. Great review, thanks
