You too can smell like grandma

I would not purchase the nourish scented hand lotion again. It did not seem to work any better than any over the counter lotion and the scent was just unpleasant. I do like the design of the dispenser and depending on the reviews of the other scents may purchase one of those.

Use

The EOS, evolution of smooth, hand lotion is the perfect lotion to take with you on the go. The sturdy compact design allows for easy travel with minimal chance of messy situations. It uses 97% natural ingredients and is paraben free.

Just rub this lotion into your skin, be it on your hands, elbows, feet, or even legs and watch your skin glow. It will not take long for you to see or feel a difference. I did find the nourish scent to be a bit too flowery for me as a male. As such this scent could be considered to be geared more towards female customers.

There is not a whole lot in this lotion that would cause an allergic reaction. If you have very sensitive skin it may irritate you and you may wish to avoid this product if you have severe allergic reactions to tree nuts.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The EOS hand lotion is very thick, creamy, and feels silky smooth. Because of its thick consistency it will stay in place where it is applied. It absorbs rapidly into the skin leaving behind very soft almost velvety skin. It does not leave any greasy residue or slimy feeling, unless you apply way too much.

The design of the container allows it to be dispensed with ease. It will not leak out or pop open accidentally. I even attempted to squeeze the container as hard as I could, to see if it would pop open or the cap would fly off. I am happy to say that the lotion stayed in the bottle, seeing as if it had not my wife would be making me clean up a big mess.

Taste / Aroma

This lotion has an overpoweringly strong aroma. What's worse is the fact that the nourish scent is not a pleasant smell. I have not tried the other scented lotions, but I would not suggest the nourish one.

The best description my wife came up with was that it smelled like her grandmother. By that she refers to the old fashioned lotions that died away years ago and should have stayed dead. It is an overwhelmingly sickly sweet imitation flowery perfume.

I can not say that I know about the taste of this product, as I do not plan on eating or licking the lotion off my skin.

Performance

This lotion last a fairly decent amount of time. Applying it only twice a day is all you will need. One of the best parts about this lotion is that despite the fact that I am a compulsive hand washer, many, many times throughout the day, the lotion soaks in well enough that my hands still stay smooth.

As I stated previously the worse part about this lotion is the scent I purchased. I can not stand the smell and if I did not like to base my reviews off of a thorough usage of my products I would have stopped using it by now.

Packaging

The simple and sleek design is very appealing. The small, compact shape allows it to easily be placed into a purse, bag, or even pocket. This is great since I am a male and therefor carry neither a purse or bag at any point in time.

On the back of the container you can find on a peel open sticker a short description of the lotion as well as a list of ingredients.

The ingredients consist of several plant oils including; sunflower, macadamia, aloe, and soybean. There are several more natural ingredients used mainly as a skin conditioner or to help stabilize the shelf-life of the product.

The lotion claims to be 97% natural ingredients and by reading the ingredients list I can honestly say I believe that to be true.

Personal comments

The product does work and I would have loved to have tried one of the other scents, but the nourish scent is definitely not for me. Perhaps in the future I will be able to give a happier review on a different EOS lotion.
Follow-up commentary
I still think the scent of this particular lotion is just way too much for me. I would be more than happy to try one of the other scents though because the lotion did work rather well.
