Exotic massage oil - oil discontinued by Shunga Erotic Art - review by MamaDivine

I have heard so many good things about Shunga, that I had to try some of their exotic oil for myself. The Shunga Exotic Massage oil comes in a 8 fluid ounce bottle. Honestly, there's nothing fancy or special about the packaging. I did notice that my cap tended to leak a little bit, so I had to make sure to wash the cap and bottle off with soapy, warm water before and after each use. Also make sure to store this in a baggie of some sort, or sort of tight container.

When using the Shunga Exotic Massage Oil, the first thing that I noticed was how thick it was. Its not thick "heavy", but it is very rich and lasts a long time. A very little bit will go a long way. Which is great, because that makes the price/quantity ratio that much better! I have used this quite a few times now and have found that only a few drops about the size of a quarter will last an entire back massage.

I also have the Contour M palm massager (as well as many others) and I have found that this works very well with those massagers. My favorite ones to use with this massage oil would have to be the Contour M and the Octo Pleaser. When using the massage oil, as with any massage oil, make sure that you do not have any clothing or fabric nearby that you will stain. The oil will stain and leave "stain rings" if you leave it on your end tables or wood tables. (As I learned the hard way). Do not let this set sideways on any bed, blanket or other fabrics, as it will leak and stain.

We took a small amount of the oil and put it into a ceramic dish and heated it up for about 15 seconds. This was perfect for a deep tissue hot oil massage. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quality massage oil that goes the distance! The smell is intoxicating and definitely lasts a while as well.

I found that I did have to take a shower after the massage, because it absorbed well into the skin, but I felt somewhat "oily" afterwards. The skin can only absorb so much before it reaches a limit, so if you use too much, you too will need to shower or bathe afterwards.

Ingredients include: Cold pressed oils (almond, grape seed, sesame, avocado and sofflower), Vitamin E, Ylang-Ylang and Fragrance.

So, Last night was Valentines Day. Hubby and I decided to treat each other to a "rub down". I have to say that I love this massage oil more and more each time I use it! So little of this stuff goes so far, and it really smells really great. (I checked, it was the fruit, for the person that asked in my original review). We didn't use any of my massagers this time, just hands. Which worked just as well as with the massagers. We also used the heated method again, which worked wonderfully. Especially in the Michigan winters, my skin is super dry, and this really helped with that problem!
