Exotic massage oil - oil discontinued by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Zombirella

Shunga's Exotic massage oil is an aphrodisiac infused, sweet smelling massage oil. It is intended to be used when giving a sensual, relaxing massage to your partner. It helps your hands glide along their skin without pulling or getting stuck as often that happens when you just use your bare hands. It makes a massage more comfortable. You can use your hands or a type of massager with the oil.

Cold pressed oils (almond, grape seed, sesame, avocado and sofflower), Vitamin E, Ylang-Ylang, Fragrance, Tocopherol, Amyl Cinnamaldehyde, Benzyl Alcohol, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Eugenol, Isoeugenol, Benzyl, Salicylate, Coumarin, D-Limonene, Geraniol, Lyral, Farnesol, Lilial, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone.

The consistency of this oil is thinner than cooking oil and more similar to baby oil. It's thin and very runny, so be careful when applying because it comes out quick and spreads/runs well. Due to the thin, watery like consistency, we put a towel down to avoid staining the carpet or bed sheets. Of course being an oil, it feels oil upon application but absorbs well into skin after awhile. It doesn't leave behind any sticky residue. It feels nice and slick and makes giving a massage a lot more comfortable for both people.

The scent I chose most recently is Apple. I was expecting more of a crisp scent but this has a sweet, artificial scent. It reminds me of the apple Glade air freshener spray. To me, it almost has a soapy or light floral-ish scent, though apple stands out about all. It isn't my favorite scent of their massage oil, that would be the strawberries and champagne or vanilla. The scent is enough to lightly scent you skin and the room for awhile. Some of the scents are pleasant and relaxing but as far as the aphrodisiac and igniting arousal, it didn't turn me on or anything.

A small puddle of this stuff goes along way (believe me, we got carried away the first time we used the oil and it was mess)! You can pour it into the palm of your hand or directly onto the person's skin, the start to rub it in, massaging and kneading as you go. One application should probably be enough for most people while giving a massage. The longest we have used it is 20-30 minuets and it lasted the entire time. Depending upon how much you use, you may still feel slightly oily after your massage, I have and I just have my fiance take a couple of baby wipes and wipe me down. I also wipe it off to avoid my back breaking out because I have sensitive skin and worry about getting my pores clogged. We have used the oil for hand on skin massages as well as plastic and ceramic massage tools as well as massagers like the LELO wands. If you don't wash it off it will leave your skin smelling sweet. Do to it being an oil, I would avoid getting it on sheets and clothing by removing your clothes and putting a towel down.

The bottle isn't discreet, but it's tasteful and isn't something I would be embarrassed to leave it. It does say "Erotic massage oil" on the front. Ingredients are listed on the back. The oil pours easily from the bottle but if it drips down it you will want to clean it off because it'll make the bottle slippery.

I'm rating the product 5 stars because though I wouldn't buy this scent again, I enjoy others that they have.
