The Shunga Exotic Massage Oil was a little different than I had expected. I have tried many oils before we received this oil, so I had a little something to compare it to. My wife and I both love this oil. It has an intoxicating scent to it (the strawberries and champagne scent). My wife wants to buy this stuff in bulk, and I can't say as I blame her! It smells exactly as I would have expected and very strong. But not overpowering.

The Shunga Exotic Massage Oil comes in an 8 fluid ounce, clear, plastic bottle. The liquid is also clear. Directions and ingredients are shown on the back, though it is hard to read because of the clear bottle and liquid. The lid is a pop lid that needs to be squeezed. We found that it takes quite a bit of pressure to squeeze out the oil, and sometimes it makes a mess because a lot squirts out.

The Shunga Exotic Massage Oil is oil based.

The Shunga Exotic Oil does absorb into the skin fairly easily and quickly. As a massage oil, we don't like this simply because it means that reapplication is needed frequently. This makes the oil go quite a bit faster than normal and a replacement will be needed sooner than we would like. We do love the fact that this makes for a great moisturizer though! After a hot, steamy shower, apply this oil all over your body. The scent lingers for hours and hours and is so powerful that perfumes or body lotions won't be necessary!

The Oil is also a great tattoo oil. I have tattoos that I have had for years now, and they are both black ink. Black ink tends to fade a bit faster than colored (or so I have noticed) and so when I put a small dab of this oil on them, it really makes the colors pop like crazy! My tattoos looked like brand new after using the oil! I was pretty impressed.

This oil leaves a very soft, almost powdery feeling on the skin so you will not feel gunky or weighed down after a massage or after rubbing into the skin as a moisturizer. I like oils that don't make you feel like you have to take a shower afterwards. You can "wear" this oil all throughout the day. Want a mid-day massage? No problem! You won't have to run to the shower. Massage and go!

This product claims to be an aphrodisiac. We didn't find anything different or arousing to support this claim. Although, during and after a massage, things tend to get heated as it is (with us anyways) so its not like anything was out of the norm or "intensified".

The oil has a very silky texture, but very runny too. So Make sure that you have a towel or something to catch any run off or excess if need be. This WILL STAIN! So be careful.

My wife has decided to make this an "after shower bath oil" - so much so that we have to order another bottle. I really enjoyed the scent of this oil and will gladly take part in more massages in the future. A little of this stuff really does go a long way (depending on the use). We normally just do back or leg massages, and on occasion we will extend those into full body massages. This oil has been great for us, and we will be getting more. We are excited to try some of the other scents because of how well we liked this one!
