Python print divine carry-on - storage container discontinued by DevineToys / AfterCare - review by Alicia

To the unsuspecting eye the Devine carry-on looks like a simple makeup case. There's nothing about it that would ever indicate to an onlooker that this case does indeed house sex toys or other intimate belongings. There's not even a logo or branding anywhere on the pouch, it's just a beautiful shimmery pink pouch with a python print.

The pouch is made out of PVC, it's a lot sturdier than I expected it to be. It stands up on its own well, and that is helped along by the lined cardboard bottom. The PVC is thick enough that the sides don't fall in against your toys, another thing that's nice since it doesn't show the outline of the toy from the outside. The interior is lined with what I assume is polyester or a polyester blend of some sort. It's similar to the lining of a lot of purses or back packs. The lining of the pink one is pink, though it's more of a dusty rose while the outside is almost Barbie pink with just a touch of shimmer. I think Barbie would have totally loved storing her sex toys in the Devine carry-on. Come on, you know she would have had some!

The zipper on the pouch is sturdy and doesn't come loose unless you actually want it to. That's more than I can say for some makeup bags that I've had in the past. There is no lock of course, so if anyone wants to check out your "makeup" collection they easily could..and would be in for a hell of a surprise! This pouch is more meant for travel (hence it being a carry-on) or for storing your toys out of plain sight, not so much for keeping out curious guests or family members. For me that's fine as I wanted it just so that my children or house guests would not open my desk cabinet and find my select few toys that I keep there.

So, what can this fit you ask? Well, more than I thought it could that's for sure. Even once you see the pouch in person you'll be surprised at how much fits inside it. It's kind of like a house that looks small and then when you're inside you can't believe how much room there is. Right now I have Fonzie in there, Corsar, the mini nipple suckers (in their package no less!), The Ultimate Pocket Massager (and its heads), an Evolved Pocket Rocket, an Evolved Speeding bullet, a baggy with the batteries for these toys, and I still have room for maybe a few sample packets or mini bottle of lube. If you're a condom user you could also fit a few of these in there along with the toys I listed or similar sized ones. So, while for some people (many reviewers on this site) it will not fit your whole collection, for those that have just a few toys it will do just fine. Like I said above, I only wanted it for these toys since these are what I keep downstairs for times that I (or my husband and I) want to have some fun downstairs rather than in our bedroom.

You could also use the pouch to store one or two larger toys, or many more smaller toys. It all depends on what you're wanting it for. While it is 10 inches long a 10 inch toy won't necessarily fit in this pouch. You need to factor in the width of the toy will make the side fold in slightly which limits your usable length. Toys that are 7-8 inch will fit as long as they're not too wide, but realize then you will get less toys in there.

You can't really machine wash this or anything, it will need to be just wiped down if/when needed. Unless a bottle of lube leaks or something you probably won't need to actually wash it though. In the end I'm really happy with my Devine Carry-On. It's a good price for a sturdy way to store my toys discreetly, and now I no longer have to cringe if the children or guests walk near my desk! Woohoo!

This little carry-on pouch really stands up to a lot of abuse. I like to make the most out of the space and so I fit as much as I possibly can in this little pouch. Sometimes this means that the zipper is pulled pretty tightly, and I haven't seen any actual wear or tear from this. It's also shoved into the little door on the one side of my desk and it always comes out looking new! So, while I haven't ever travelled with this I think it'd actually do really well with that because it's definitely built tough, and built to last!
