Python print divine carry-on - storage container discontinued by DevineToys / AfterCare - review by mpfm

The python print carry-on made by Divine Toys is a well made bag that is ideal for a makeup case, but can be used for many purposes. I purchased this to give as a gift. I can going to fill it and give it to my daughter. I think she will love it. I was thrilled with the quality and will likely buy myself one in the near future. It's a medium size makeup case, but it holds a surprising amount. I had fun coming up with all sorts of uses for it. Eden carries them in silver, pink, and white. I have the silver one. It is metallic looking, and I think very classy. It's pretty enough it could be used as a purse although it doesn't have a strap or handle.

The outside which is made from pvc has a faux python pattern. It is shiny and very pretty. It feels mostly smooth, but the pattern does create some subtle texture. It's easy and comfortable to hold. The top has a nice zipper that is curved a bit for easy closing. The case is constructed well. The stitching is neat without any stray threads. Both the outside and inside can be wiped down with soap and water to clean.

The inside has a beige liner that can be easily cleaned. The bottom has an insert that gives the bag support and also allows it to "sit" on a flat surface. Some makeup bags like this don't have a flat bottom and don't sit so this is a nice feature. Another nice feature is that it can be folded when not in use and stored flat. It can simply be placed in a drawer and pulled out when needed. When traveling, it can be placed in a larger bag or suitcase.

The big question is what can it hold. If you're looking for something to hold a large collection of sex toys, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a nice travel bag or makeup or toiletries look no further. It also will work for a few favorite sex toys when traveling. With some careful thought and plannig this could easily hold the bare essentials.

My daughter currently houses her makeup in a larger bag and I wasn't sure if this would even begin to compare, but I was pleasantly surprised. It held quite a bit- certainly the essentials. Here is the list:

Foundation, pressed powder, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner pencil & sharpner, eyelash curler, mascara, 2 brushes, and 3 lipsticks. It was full, but not stuffed to the top.

I think the bag would be great for a weekend trip. With that in mind I packed the following:

Toothbrush, small toothpaste, floss, travel size mouthwash, disposable razor, deodorant, foundation, and mascara. Again, it was full but not stuffed. My regular size shampoos wouldn't fit, but travel size would be fine. The sample size shampoos and lotions in hotel rooms will fit nicely, and you might as well take them once they're opened.

I also used it to pack some sex toys just to see what I could fit in. Here's the sex toy list:

G-ki, Mimi, Ceramic body massager, small Lelo whip, Eden bullet, Eden wipes, cockring, and some sample lubes. That's actually quite a bit of stuff and would make for a nice evening out.

Overall, this is a very nice carry-on case. The price may be a bit high, but I'm willing to pay it for the quality. It holds much more than I originally thought it would ad it looks good at the same time. That's really all I ask of a makeup case.

This was a perfect gift for my daughter. She loves that it holds so much of her makeup. It's classy and elegant and has held up well. It's a terrific carry on bag.
