Minivibe Bubbles - g-spot vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Tuesday

Bubbles is a rechargeable and completely waterproof G-spot vibrator. You can take it into the bath or shower. It can be used clitorally or vaginally.

Its small, cute and is not likely to be turned on accidentally, making it a good choice for travel.

Just note that if you have carpal tunnel, the short handle on this makes it necessary for you to bend your wrist more than with other toys in a direction that can aggravate that condition.

Bubbles is covered mostly in silicone. There is a small amount of black plastic at the handle end. It cannot be taken apart. It comes with a small charger that plugs into the wall. The business part of the charger attaches to Bubbles' end with magnets, much like the power cord on Mac laptops. Very cool. So fun.

It arrives fully charged and ready to use.

Bubbles looks like a cross between a worm and the Michelin man. It has four spheres arranged in a shallow question mark pattern.

Its more squeezable and bendable than I expected. I had assumed it would be rigid inside, but it does have some bend to it.

Its short, so there isn't much of a handle. There is less to grip and it can't be inserted far. I didn't find these characteristics to be a problem.

It comes with a charger. Recharging it is one of the most fun aspects of Bubbles.

Bubbles has nine speeds and four patterns of vibration.

When it first arrived, I pressed the plus button several times, but nothing happened. I assumed it needed to be charged before use. I snapped the charger onto Bubbles. So fun! I never tire of snapping that charger into place.

Then I began reading the instructions. They state that the light in the part of the charger that connects to Bubbles glows with a steady red light when its fully charged. It was already glowing steadily. It does indeed arrive fully charged. I just needed to learn how to turn it on. All that's needed is to hold the plus button down for two seconds. It immediately zooms to the highest speed. Excellent. That's where I want it. It has nine levels of intensity.

Hold the button down for a second and it moves into the first vibration pattern. It will then rotate through vibration modes two through four each time the plus button is pressed again. There is no way to move backwards through the vibration patterns.

To return it to steady vibration, press the minus button.

The vibration patterns are:

1) steady vibration
2) slow pulsing, like waves of vibration
3) faster pulsing
4) rapid pulsing

Bubbles is completely waterproof and easy care. Just wash with soap and water. It can be sterilized with a ten percent bleach solution.

Use only water based lubricants with Bubbles.

It is a lint magnet, like most silicone toys.

Bubbles arrived in great packaging, just like all Fun Factory products. The main vibrator is packaged for display. It has an outer flap with a see through window. You can easily unsnap the magnet closure to open the flap and read product details. A long instruction sheet in teeny tiny text is included, along with pictures of other Fun Factory products.

The charger comes in a separate package with its own instruction sheet.

A sample packet of Toyfluid lube is included.

Ah Bubbles. I gave it many chances. Non-empty bladder. Empty bladder. Clitoral use. G-spot use. Even right after a clitoral orgasm where usually pretty much any stimulation will give me a G-spot orgasm.

Sadly Bubbles wasn't up to the task. Repeatedly it feels like I'm this close (holds two fingers so they're almost touching) but haven't made it to the other side. Even with the added mechanical stimulation of thrusting Bubbles I wasn't successful.

I even felt compelled to whip out old reliable toys to make sure there wasn't something wrong with me. That's never a good sign.

I don't know what it is about Bubbles that makes it not work for me. Vibrations not strong enough? Maybe, but when I hold it in my hand it feels like the vibrations should be strong enough. I've concluded that Bubbles' vibrations oscillate back and forth too quickly. Dreamer's Bliss, with its wide oscillations, sends me over the edge easily every time.

I wish there were a system where manufacturers could measure and list the degree of oscillation of vibrators. That plus strength would be the best ways to determine if a particular vibrator will work for you as long as you have some experience with other vibrators that you like.

If a vibrator of moderate strength but with a small degree of oscillation will work for you, Bubbles may be just the ticket.
