Cleo massager - discreet massager discontinued by ONO Pleasure - review by Valyn

The Cleo massager is a clitoral "Bath Body Massager" by ONO Pleasure. ONO claims it is ergonomically inspired for sensual massage. It can be used on the clit or on just about any other part of the body. The design actually nicely fits on tense shoulders and necks for a simple relaxing massage. It also comes with a double sided suction cup, so it can be attached to almost any surface, making the rather large toy easier to work with.

The Cleo is "Made from body safe FDA approved materials" with "Pthalate-free silicone", as it says on the box. It's rather velvety and doesn't quite attract as much dust and lint as some other silicone toys can. The silky feel is purposeful, too - the Cleo is made to "glide sensuously along your body's contours". There is no smell or weird taste to it (yes I lick my toys).

For a clitoral toy, this thing is big. The base is about 4.5 inches in diameter, and it stands at around 3.5 inches, without the suction cup attached. This large size makes it slightly awkward to use as a clitoral toy, but not to bad as a body massager. I've found that one of the easier ways to use it is to sit on my knees with this toy underneath, basically riding it. It sort of feels like I'm sitting on a way too tiny saddle. I think the shape looks rather whimsical, but I'm not sure if that means it's discreet.

A nifty feature about this toy is that you can lock the controls for traveling. I always suggest removing the batteries of any toy before taking it on a trip, but locking the controls is a great feature.

First let's start with what the box says. On the side of the package ONO claims:

"8 vibration modes for more diverse sensations
Ultra strong motor offers more potential for stimulation
6 intensity settings for added power
Suction cup for mounting on any flat surface
waterproofed, bath and shower friendly for more versatility"
I agree that the motor is very strong, but it's also sort of loud at the highest setting. The controls are very cute - the two "O"s on the front of the toy where ONO is written ARE the controls. Inside each "O" is a plus or minus sign, indicating on/off and intensity buttons. The last of the 8 different functions is the most interesting to me; it's hard to describe, but it's almost like the vibrations following the rhythm of a song. It is totally waterproof, and the giant suction cups are nifty to use in a bath or shower.

Being waterproof, it's easy to dunk into the sink and thoroughly wash with soap and water. The manual has written that cleansers with alcohol, petrol, or acetone can damage the silicone skin of the Cleo. Use with any lube except silicone base, as that can also damage silicone toys. It does not come with a pouch, which would be nice, but because it doesn't attract so much dust/hair/lint, storage isn't too much of an issue.

It comes in a plastic box with cardboard inside holding the toy still. A very useful little manual comes inside. There is a nice "One year limited warranty - Our commitment to quality" on the toy as well, and all packaging is recyclable. However, I don't find the packaging to be very discreet.
