Silicone is non-porous, body safe, phthalates, latex and allergen free and rates a 10 on the material safety scale. This is one of the softest silicones I have felt, but it also has less drag than most of the other silicone toys. There is no smell or taste to the casing or wheel.

The pink, removable cover and the casing is hard, shiny ABS Plastic. Plastic is also a safe material, but you should not have the plastic anywhere on your personal areas. The design does not allow for any stimulation from the plastic areas.

The Sqweel 2 reminds me of an amputated blow dryer; or should I say hair dryer?? No, blow dryer--much more appropriate!! The round area that holds the fan is the useable area with the tongue. You do have to remove the pink plastic cover, first to access the tongues.The diameter of this area is 4 1/2" and it is 2" thick. The flexible tongues are 1" long and 1" wide, they are smaller at the base and tip and are slightly curved. This provides a much rougher, harder, flick of the tongues when put in reverse.

The removable cover is easy to gently pop on and off. There is only one way to put it back on, though. You just need to make sure the side that completes the circular pattern on the front is also on the same side. This will slip on easily and you will hear a light click when it is in place.

The controller area, or where air might come out of a blow dryer, is about 3" wide, 1 1/2" long and is about 1 1/4' deep. There is a lock for the wheel cover, which keeps the wheel from flying out during use. Hmmm....spitballs, flying wheel, do I detect a practical joke for my hubby???? Unfortunately, there is a cover that needs to be removed prior to the wheel coming off--for whatever reason.

You can travel with this, just pop it in a pouch and go. For Airplane travel, place it in a bag with hair care items--unless they have one, the attendants or personnel will not know it is not hair related. I mean, it IS a battery operated hair teaser, right??

There are two buttons for controlling the Sqweel 2. The first button is larger, and has a right facing arrow head on it. Push this once to turn it on. It starts on low speed, the second push will give you a medium speed and the third push is for high speed (recommended for spitballs).

The smaller button has two arrows that make a circle. This button will change the direction form forward to reverse. Press it once for reverse--definitely a rougher and more of a hit for the tongues. Press it again for a back and forth, flicking motion. This one was the least pleasing personally. Press it one more time to go forward again. To turn the Sqweel 2 off, press and hold the speed button, the arrowhead, for 3 seconds. You may also use the speed button to change speeds while using this during reverse and flicker, this adds six more functions!!

This is a very quiet toy. I would be confident using this in situations where noise is definitely a factor. Do NOT use this in water, it is not waterproof!! I did squirt, which made the Sqweel 2 very wet but I wiped it off immediately with a towel and it did not harm the toy. I do not know if I want to try that maneuver again!! I do not move that fast after squirting, and this is too good of a toy to sacrifice.

The battery door is on the back and swings out. Add 3 AAA batteries and be prepared for 1 1/2 hours of almost continual use. Please shut the Sqweel 2 off if it starts to get a bit warm, you may use it again after about 20-30 minutes. It took about 30-45 minutes for it to get warm.

Unlock the front panel by moving the little button to the right, covering the locked padlock picture. Remove the wheel and toss in warm, soapy water. Wipe the inside of the Sqweel 2 with a damp cloth, I use the Lelo toy cleaner to dampen my cloth. Also a good idea for the exterior. Make sure to not get completely wet--this will ruin the Sqweel 2. If the seal at the top of the wheel holder is dry, dab a bit of lubricating oil, such as gun oil or sewing machine oil on it with a q-tip.

Wash and dry the wheel. I air dry mine or use my chamois cloth since it does collect lint and hair. I also go back over it with a toy cleaner to sanitize the silicone. You may toss it in boiling water for 10 minutes or 10% bleach and water, also for 10 minutes. These methods will also sanitize the material.

I store this in the plastic formed inserts that it was packaged in, but did toss the cardboard box. You may store this with other plastic toys, but only if you leave the protective lid over the wheel. Use ONLY water based lubes. Other lube types will ruin the silicone wheel and may be difficult to clean.

As you might be able to see, the box is completely non-discreet. That box tell everyone it is an "Oral Sex Toy". And you can see the toy!! I like the inside packaging, a top and bottom formed plastic 'box'. Place the Sqweel 2 in the formed area on the bottom, white, plastic. Place the clear plastic formed lid over the Sqweel 2 and toss it in your toy storage area. There is a very simple instruction book included.

Make sure to get the batteries in correctly. I had to refer to the booklet, the first battery in the stacking side goes in one way, the one on top goes the other. It is obvious how the third one goes in.

I cannot believe I just did this, but it does work amazingly well for licking envelopes. Dab it in some water and turn it on while holding the envelope flap against your table top. On the forward modes, the 10 tongues have a pleasant licking feeling. The highest speed can be a bit much and may feel like hitting, versus licking. Any pressure on the low and medium speeds will stop the motion. You can apply enough pressure on the highest speed to minimize the hitting feeling without stopping it.

Reverse was too heavy of a hit for me. I could not take that, but really liked it for teasing and sensory play. The flicker was odd, I need to play with that more, but for me it was the least liked function. I would relax during the forward movement and get a bit of a hit during the reverse movement.
