A Truly Unique Toy

This truly unique toy is great choice, especially for those that seem to have everything. It's a very unique toy, and it provides a great stimulation. The sensation provided is truly like nothing I've ever felt before. It's a great feeling, though it did take a little while for me to get used to it. Now that I have, I love this toy!

Use

The Sqweel 2 is a truly unique toy. This toy is designed to mimic oral sex -- though, personally, I will take the real thing over this toy any day of the week. That's not to say that this toy isn't lovely -- it is! It's just that I much prefer the real thing. This is a pretty awesome substitute, though.

The packaging for the Sqweel 2 states that this toy is meant for women. Clearly, this toy is meant to stimulate the clitoris, with its 10 silicone tongues. You don't need to limit yourself to just using this on your clitoris, though. This could be used to provide stimulation all over your body -- I found that it felt lovely on my nipples, and I even enjoyed letting it "lick" my stomach (after I had applied lubricant to the toy). You could also allow this toy to stimulate the outside of your anus.

Men, you could also use this toy to stimulate your bits. I can't say how that would feel, as my partner has not had the chance to try this on his testicles yet, but I have read that some other men enjoy the feeling.

This toy isn't really going to be for everyone, though, as not everyone will enjoy the sensation that it provides. Still, it's worth a try for both beginners and advanced users. It's especially good for the person that seems to have every kind of sex toy imaginable, as it's pretty unique.

Material / Texture

The Squeel 2 is made out of two different materials. First of all, there's the casing. In my case, the casing is white, with a pink top. The casing is made out of a firm plastic. The plastic bit does not come in contact with your clitoris, but even if it does? It's super safe, being that it rates as an 8 on the safety scale. The plastic is glossy, smooth, and completely firm.

Next up, we have the most important part of this toy -- the 10 silicone tongues. The silicone tongues are very safe, earning a 10 on Eden's safety scale. They're non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. Food-grade material / Hypo-allergenic / Latex free / Non-porous / Phthalates free

The tongues are flexible, and they're interesting combination of soft and firm. I was worried that the tongues would hurt my clitoris, but it actually felt really good once I found the right setting for me. The silicone does have a slight drag to it, and you're probably going to want to use lubricant to counter that drag. As the tongues are silicone, you're going to want to stick with a water-based lubricant.

There is also a seam that can be seen on the tongues, but I cannot feel this seam at all while I'm using it.

Neither materials have any strange odors.

Design / Shape / Size

The size of the Sqweel 2 is very easy to handle. It's small enough that I can comfortably hold it with one hand, and I have fairly small hands. Still, to get more control, I prefer to grip it with both hands. The placement of the buttons is prefect, as I find that my thumb can easily press them to change the speed, or rotation style without having to move the vibrator away from my clitoris.

The wheel that's included features 10 tongues. The tongues are slightly curved, which means that changing the rotation of the wheel means that you really change the way that the tongue hits your clitoris.

The toy doesn't really look like a sex toy, unless you know what it is. Still, it's difficult to pass this off as anything else, so you might find yourself getting some awkward questions if you leave it out in plain sight.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Like the original Sqweel, the Sqweel 2 requires 3-AA batteries to run. Batteries are not included, so you will need to provide your own. The battery compartment is located on the back of the toy (with the side with the controls being considered "the front"). The battery insertion directions are clearly marked in the compartment, so you won't have to waste time on "trial and error".

Then, the controls are found on the front of the of the toy. There are two buttons, and one switch. The switch isn't really a control, but it's worth noting -- the switch is simply used to lock the toy so that it can't be taken apart, or to unlock it so that you can take it apart. Locking the toy does NOT prevent the toy from being turned on, so if you're traveling with this toy, you're going to want to remove the batteries.

One of the buttons on the front is a large ">" button. This is the button that turns the toy on. Press the toy once, and you'll be greeted with a slow, simple rotation of the tongues. If you press the ">" again, the speed increases, but it's still just a simple rotation. Hit it one more time, and the toy gets even faster! And if you hit it again? You're back at the beginning, with the slow speed.

Now, what if you want something else? Easy -- you simply hit the little button that features 2 arrows going in a circle. The first press of the button will reverse the rotation -- so you're able to go clockwise, and counter-clockwise. Press the button once more, and you'll find a pattern that sort of flicks back and forth. If you press the button one more time, you'll be back at the original rotation cycle.

No matter what direction, or type of rotation you choose, you can increase the speed. Yes, you can have fast flicking from the back and forth rotation, or you can go with slow and stay flicking. You can have slow counter-clockwise, or you could have medium counter-clockwise. Whatever speed you like, whatever pattern you like -- this toy allows you to pick what best suits you.

To turn the toy off, you simply hold down the ">" button for a few seconds.

This toy doesn't vibrate, so I didn't give it any "vrooms". It does, however, make some noise. At the highest level, I'm rating it as a 3, but really -- it's more like a 2.5. As I can't give it a 2.5 rating, I'm rounding up.

I know that some people are wondering about pressure... can you apply pressure with this toy? To a degree, yes. Obviously, if you push too hard, you're going to stop the rotations. I found that I was able to achieve enough pressure with the toy functioning as it's supposed to. I did have to remind myself not to not press the toy right against my clitoris, like I would a vibrator, though. If you press it tightly against your clitoris, you won't get to feel the tongues flickering against your special place.

The toy is not waterproof, so please don't try and take it in the shower or bath. This toy is just too nice to risk ruining!

Care and Maintenance

As I mentioned previously in my review, the Sqweel 2 is made partially of silicone. Because of this fact, you're only going to want to use water-based lubricants, as silicone based lubricants may damage the material. You could also use oil based lubricants, but I prefer to keep oil based lubes away from my privates.

To clean the Sqweel 2, you're going to need to take it apart. The toy is not waterproof, so you can't just run it underneath some running water.

So, how do you take it apart? Simple. There's a little "lock" and "unlock" switch on the front of the toy. You simply slide the switch over so that the "unlock" symbol is showing. Then, you simply lift up on the little panel that features the lock/unlock switch. Now, you slide the pink tongues out, and you wash them. You can wash the pink tongues with antibacterial soap and warm water, or you can use a toy cleaner.

You're going to want to be careful when cleaning the case, as that portion is not waterproof. So, how should you clean it? You could either use a toy cleaning wipe or spray, or you could simply use a damp washcloth. Let the toy dry completely, and then put it back together to store.

Speaking of storage, it's super easy. This toy comes with a cover, so you don't really need to worry about the toy attracting a lot of lint and dust. I, personally, store the toy in my toy box with the batteries out.

Packaging

The Sqweel 2's packaging is quite simple. It's a pink and white box, with a plastic mold on the front. The plastic mold holds the toy in place, and it is completely see-through. So, you can clearly see the toy through the packaging.

The packaging isn't discreet at all. The toy doesn't really look like anything too "adult" (unless you know what it is), but the packaging states "the world's best-selling oral sex toy" right on the front, in large letters.

The packaging lists the main features of the toy, but it doesn't really provide any instructions. That's okay, though, I didn't really require instructions.

Experience

I was very apprehensive about this toy, as I hadn't heard great things about the original Sqweel. Apprehensive as I was, I was also very curious, and clearly that curiosity won. I waited nervously for days for the package, sure I'd be disappointed. Then, it arrived.

I grabbed my lube, and dove into playing with my new toy. At first I thought that it felt strange -- in fact, at first, I found it sort of uncomfortable. I played with the speeds, and tried holding the toy in different ways. Eventually, I found one that worked for me. It wasn't quite as good as real oral sex, but it was pretty awesome. I'm really glad I decided to take a chance on this one.
Follow-up commentary
Okay, so... I still like this thing, but I don't find myself using it very often. In fact, it almost never comes out of the toy box. The truth is that it just doesn't get me off as quickly (or as hard) as some of my other toys. It takes a lot of effort for me to orgasm with this one, and I have to be in JUST the right mood for this to really do much for me..
