The Bottle Rocket Nova is one of the several tiny pocket-rocket-like vibrators by Evolved. It is only 4.5 inches long, and 2.75 inches around (a little larger than my middle finger). It's small size makes it completely non-intimidating and great for beginners new to masturbating with toys or bringing toys into couples sex.

It's best used as a clitoral vibrator. Because of its small size, it can't really be inserted deep enough for any stimulation--I have tried before but it didn't do anything for me. If you have a shallow g-spot this might do the trick for you.

I would recommend this vibrator to anyone who lives in a dorm or travels. It's relatively quiet and small so it's easy to hide and store. It is also waterproof so it can be taken into the shower.

The Nova is plastic but surprisingly is very soft against the skin. The vibrator has a swirled texture which provide great stimulation to my clitoris. The texture isn't overwhelming, and because it is so smooth, you wouldn't have a be a texture-junkie to enjoy this toy. It holds its shape and does not have any give. Right out of the packaging this product has very slight and subtle odor...like any new plastic product smells but this goes away after a few uses. Everything about the Nova's design, size, and shape make it one of the most adorable vibrators I've owned. It is shaped like a traditional vibrator except miniature. Mine is hot pink (it also comes in white) and reminds me of a unicorn horn. The dimensions are 4.5 inches in length and 2.75 inches around. I wish that the top was wider and flat instead of tapered and rounded. That would have made it work better whenever I got really wet.

The functions of the Bottle Rocket Nova were the main issues I had with the product. There are three speeds controlled by a push button on the end of the bottle rocket. The button was easy to get to without interrupting it's placement. The 3-speeds weren't very different from each other, just buzzier. Saying that, this is not a very noisy toy at all. I can hear it through the covers but haven't gotten complaints of jackhammer sounds coming from my room (I live in a dorm).

The vibrations were strongest at the tip but were felt all over the toy, even the base. For the first few minutes of use, I felt like this was a powerful toy but realized that this was because I was feeling a lot of the vibrations on my hand. This was an annoyance because the vibrations made my hand go numb and have the pins and needles sensation after I finished using the toy. This wore off after a few minutes. This toy took forever for me to actually orgasm, even on the highest setting.

This toy is also waterproof and can be taken into the shower. I haven't tried this because the dorm showers aren't exactly the most private and I can't take that long. I've submerged it in water before, though, and the battery compartment is air-tight. This toy takes AA batteries (not included) and has a long battery life, which is a plus!!!!

The Nova is extremely easy to clean and store. I wipe the toy down with an alcohol swab before each use and wash it with warm water and soap after each use. I store it in it's original packaging...which is a bottle with a screw-off bottom. This keeps it standing up and not touching anything. Because this vibrator is plastic it is compatible with oil, water, and silicone based lubes. I wouldn't use a lot, if any lube with this toy, though, because too much lubrication makes stimulating the clitoris harder because it slips off.

The packaging of the Bottle Rocket Nova was adorable--it was literally in a bottle! The bottle states what the product is called, that it is waterproof, and what it's used for. The bottle is clear and you can see the vibrator through it, making this packaging not very discreet. It took me a while to figure out how to get the vibrator out of the packaging but I finally figured out that the bottle has a screw off base. I was able to keep the bottle and use it for storage.

First out of the package, I was slightly disappointed at the small size of the Nova, yet delighted by the adorable packaging. Now to put the "it's not the size of the rocket..." theory to the test. Figuring out how to get the little bugger out of the bottle was a challenge...but I feel like an mechanical engineer doing it. Rocket fuel...errr AA batteries...check. 3, 2, 1....BLASTOFF!!! My initial reaction to the vibrations was that I was going to moon in no time. "Mach 1" isn't getting me through the atmosphere. Mach 2, Mach 3...still going. Am I lost in space? It took a while, but I finally got there. I didn't see any any stars, though. Now I know how Buzz Lightyear felt when he found out he was "just a toy."
