Black beauty

Part of the Sasha Grey Signature toy collection, this black beauty is a good G-spot toy. Its a bit heavy and can be tiring on your wrist to use, but its lusciously big head offers great sensations.

Use

Swell is a beautiful toy that can serve as a wonderful G-spot toy, especially for those who appreciate its girthy size. The only texture it has are slight undulations along its shaft. Enjoy either the smaller, straighter end or use the large, bulbous end for more intense sensations.

The careful user who makes sure they maintain a firm grasp on one end could use this for anal stimulation. Just be careful if you try it this way since there is nothing other than your firm grip to keep it from completely entering you.

Material / Texture

Swell is made of borosilicate glass, a break resistant, scent free, non-porous material.

It's an absolutely solid black color. When you hold it up to the light, no light passes through it.

The only texture it has are the slight variations in the width of its shaft. This will not be enough texture to bother anyone.

Design / Shape / Size

It looks bluish in the photographs on this site, but Swell is actually completely black.

Its round head is a full five inches in circumference. Its eight inches long with two areas on its shaft that swell out a bit. The size of its head is just about perfect. The roundness of the head is an excellent shape for G-spot massage. It is blissfully free of anything pointy that could irritate you.

You can insert either end and thus experience two different sensations with Swell. Either end makes a good handle.

Performance

Swell has been an enjoyable toy to use. It has turned out to be a wonderful G-spot toy despite its non-curved shape.

However, it's quite heavy, so it could tire your wrist if you use it for a long enough period of time. Its other disadvantage is the straightness of its shaft which requires you to hold your arm down at more of an angle than is comfortable for more than short periods of time.

I tried using Swell as a kegel exerciser also. I felt that its size made it feel like it was difficult to squeeze my pelvic floor muscles. This could be an illusion. It might be that it just feels more difficult but that the actual pelvic floor workout is just as good.

I also tried inserting the ball end and letting it hang. I had assumed that it was heavy enough that it would require effort to squeeze hard enough to hold it in, but it actually stays in place with no problem. Using it that way, you risk it dropping to the floor and possibly breaking it.

Probably pelvic floor exercises aren't its intended purpose. Enjoy Swell on your G-spot where it shines.

Care and Maintenance

Swell is an easy care toy. Simply wash it with soap and water after use then towel dry it. Its non-porous surface is easy to keep clean.

Store it either in its original container, a padded storage bag or other soft container.

Any lube is safe to use with this toy.

Packaging

Swell comes in a black cardboard box with muted photos of Sasha Grey herself on each side, an image of the toy on the front and a description of the product on the back.

Opening the box for the first time was a challenge. It is well sealed at each end and the foam insert in which the toy rests fits incredibly tightly inside the box. Scissors and quite a bit of force were required to remove the insert.

Swell fits snugly inside the foam insert. I've been storing Swell in the foam insert (but without putting the insert back inside the box.) Even when the insert is upside down, Swell doesn't fall out. This seems like a nice way to protect her while still keeping her ready to use.

Personal comments

I'm giving Swell four stars only because its heaviness and straightness causes me to have to hold my wrist and arm in a position that is tiring after not that long a period of use. For those with stronger wrists, longer arms or who plan to use this with a partner, this won't be a problem.

Also, as I tested Swell, I switched back and forth between the Wave, Silenzio and Swell.

Here are the Wave, Swell and Silenzio (from top to bottom) together.

I like to pit various toys against each other in G-spot smack-downs. I would place Swell in third place in this lineup in terms of ease of triggering an orgasm. Silenzio, the Wave, then Swell.
