This is the best plug I've seen for wearing around for extended periods of time, even if you're new to the idea! It's comfortable and discreet enough to wear without fidgeting or worrying about being caught, even if you're wearing the tightest pair of jeans you own, yet it's substantial enough to not let you forget it's there. The Bootie is, unfortunately, not shaped well for use during intercourse, but its suitability for extended wear wins it a spot in my favorite toy box!

The Bootie is silicone. It has no smell or taste whatsoever. The surface has a good bit of drag, so lube is a must. (Of course, when is lube NOT a must for anal play?) It's completely smooth with the velvety feel characteristic of most silicone. It's very flexible and soft throughout the base and stem, but it becomes a little firmer in the bulge at the tip.

The Bootie is a rather small plug, excellent for even the complete novice to anal play. It has an elongated curve to it, almost like the nJoy Pfun plug without a narrow band separating the tip and the stem. The shape is very comfortable, sitting with the natural curve of the body. There is a slightly rounded bulge at the end, providing the most stimulation. The base is a long, narrow bar of flexible silicone that nests between the cheeks and disappears from view under any clothing, even if you have virtually no butt. Overall, it's a very cute, modern-looking plug. It's not an intimidating design at all.

As I stated earlier, the Bootie is perfect for extended wear. I've been able to wear it for several hours with no discomfort. It's very discreet, undetectable under clothing. The base does partially block the vagina, meaning this plug is not a very good option for use during play. However, I have yet to see a plug that is perfect for both extended wear and use during intercourse.

To insert, I suggest holding the Bootie around the very base of the stem. If you just hold the base/handle, the plug tends to want to bend against the sphincter instead of pass through it. Once the bulge at the tip is inserted, though, the Bootie slips effortlessly into place.

The Bootie is 100% pure silicone. Safest. Flexible. Material. Ever. Hypo-allergenic, phthalates-free, and food-grade material. It's also completely non-porous, making it a cinch to clean. I just wash mine with water and antibacterial soap before and after each use. You can also boil or bleach the toy to disinfect it. Only use water-based lubricant with this material.

Warning: Silicone IS a lint magnet, so be very careful with storage options and/or rinse the Bootie before each use.
