The intended use for Bootie is as a butt plug. I have never had a plug before or much anal experience for that matter and I definitely chose the right beginner plug. Bootie is ideal for beginners due to its material and smaller size. Bootie can be used during sex, masturbation or it could be worn all day. I found that it was very easy to walk around with Bootie in place and stimulating too for that matter. Bootie is definitely great for someone who wants to wear a plug all day and be comfortable the entire time. Since I am a beginner when it comes to butt plugs I can say this is ideal for the beginner, but for the advanced user I am not sure whether or not Bootie would cut it. I can see myself eventually upgrading to a larger plug and being less interested in this one with more experience.

Bootie is made of pure silicone and has the same velvety feel to it as all of the other Fun Factory toys I own. Silicone is non-porous with a safety rating of 10 since this material can be streilized. This toy did have a slight odor to it, but did go away after a good washing in the sink with soap and water. There is no texture. Bootie is soft and pretty flexible. The flexibility of Bootie made it very easy to wear comfortably and this plug just seemed to move with me. The velvety texture made inserting Bootie fairly easy and not even remotely uncomfortable.

I loved the design of this plug for several reasons. Bootie has a tip that is rounded and wider than the short shaft. When inserted this bulbous end kept the plug in place. Bootie is also slightly curved forward which provided extra stimulation with general wear and while wearing it during masturbation and sex. This plug is relatively small in size and is certainly meant for beginners or someone who only wants a smaller plug. The insertable length is 2 3/4" and the shaft is an inch in diameter. The flared base is very bendy and moves with your body and sits incredibly comfortably between the cheeks. The base is long enough that it does slightly cover my vaginal opening. This could get in the way of penetration for some, but for me it did not - it just took a little bending forward of the part of the base closest to my vagina and then my man and I were good to go from there. Bootie is discreet due to its size, but anyone who has seen a butt plug before will group this plug into that category immediately.

I loved that Bootie was so flexible and comfortable so I could gain experience with wearing a plug for an extended period of time. During masturbation and even light movement the bulbous end of Bootie did provide great anal stimulation and kept me turned on. Wearing Bootie during masturbation and with sex definitely seemed to intensify my orgasms too. The only thing that I could complain about is that the base is a little long and reached my vagina, but due to the material I can work around this. Bootie is very easy to use and very easy to insert. With some water based lube, (water based lube for sure since Bootie is made of silicone) and a few seconds I had Bootie in comfortably and was able to walk around reaping the stimulating benefits with no discomfort. Sitting is comfortable with this plug in too for that matter.

Bonus: Fun Factory with all of their silicone toys include a 4ml sample of toyfluid water based lube which I used to help insert Bootie and it went fantastically.

Bootie is very easy to care for. There is no motor - it's a simple plug that can be washed in the sink with soap and water. It does need to be washed well so that it does not hold on to any odors. Bootie can also be boiled for three minutes to completely sterilize. Due to the fact that Bootie is slightly a lint and hair magnet I wipe it off before inserting with a toy wipe. I also store this plug in a small box to prevent extra fuzz from attaching itself to Bootie. As mentioned before use water based lube. Silicone lube paired with a silicone toy can degrade the material over time.

Bootie came in a small cardboard box with a plastic cover surrounding the plug. This box could actually be used for storage if you wanted to keep the plug in there, but you would have to save the plastic and store bootie the same way it came. I just recycled my box. The front of the box is open without the plastic in. There is a small pamphlet that shows pictures of other fun factory products included (just a bunch more stuff to lust after really) and another pamphlet that has instructions. The box is not very discreet since it says "Bootie" on the front as well as the back and has an open front with a picture of the product on the back of the package as well. There is not too much written on the outside of the box besides the name of the toy, manufacturer and a reminder to love yourself.

When I used Bootie the first time I used it solo. I inserted the plug and used an insertable vibe on my clit, but then rested the tip of the vibe on top of the flared base and held the shaft of the vibe against my clit. This made the plug vibrate and still provided clitoral stimulation which was awesome and I am glad I figured this out right away. When wearing bootie during intercourse I did have to take my hand and bend the base toward my vagina to allow entry, but had no problems or interference during sex after the initial adjustment.
